Update 2 - as of today the laptop is not only fixed, but actually has notably better thermal performance than before. When this laptop was new, most games required the fans to run at full tilt - now it stays about 60-70c through lots of multi-tasking and light gaming. This quality of work makes me forget about the issues along the way. While this is a 5 star review, I think they can improve the way customers are updated and better avoid ordering issues by having an online ticket portal of sorts. Update - The team reached out in response of this review and offered some concessions that did help.
Most of all, the humility of everyone involved showed me that this was indeed a genuine and rare error. Once I get my machine back, I'll update again with the results. Since this is a fan replacement that requires heat sink removal, there are a lot of touch points that require re-application of thermal paste in order to properly function as it was before.
I'm confident all will be well, but it's definitely a job for skilled hands and why I'm still willing to pay full price. --- Took my Zephyrus G14 Acronym edition in for a fan replacement almost two weeks ago. They said it would take about a week to do everything. There were some issues along the way, that were really irritating at the time, like a misplaced order and some communication issues, but nothing that couldn't be worked out.

Data drive saved my accidentally erased photos and data! They are geniuses! I had sentimental photos of my Uncle's funeral and also my Cat's adoption day, among numerous other Holiday photos etc that meant everything to me.and they were able to find everything--at a reasonable price with kind, caring customer service. This place is the very best! :

My computer crashed after trying to install a software update. They were able to recover all my files and re-install the software and loaded all my files back. It was like my computer never crashed. Not only did they help prevent a very bad situation by losing files, but they also took care of it faster than I anticipated. I hope to not have my computer crash again, but I know I will use Datadrive. Great company, reasonable prices, and quality work.

Completely and wholeheartedly 5 star experience. We had an issue with the administrative profile on windows 8 being corrupt. Tyson came to the rescue with a remote log in and had us back up and running in under 15 minutes. He was completely patient and understanding. Thank you for your amazing service!

I am new to Tucson and needed laptop repair. DataDrive drew me due to the fantastic reviews. Well let me add another one into the mix because this place is great! Tyson fixed my damaged laptop and did a super job. On top of this, he was professional, helpful and had a very nice demeanor. He even gave useful tips that would serve me better as a customer or save me money.
The only issue experienced was the payment system. Make sure you have a second debit/credit card or cash on hand. My first card is an online bank and its security is sensitive so I wasn't put off by the fact that it wouldn't go through. But I was surprised when I used BBVA, a local bank, and that wouldn't process either. This is more than likely not Datadrive's fault and has to due with the payment processor or perhaps a combination with specific banks.
In any event, I was very pleased with Tyson and DataDrive and they come highly recommended! Finally, the price was right and reasonable and they pick up the phone quickly when you call. I'll definitely be back with any future computer needs.

This place is awesome. They fixed my laptop extremely fast. This was really important since I'm a student and need my laptop for assignments. It is nice to deal with someone who displays such professionalism. They even went beyond and charged my laptop. I will be using them for future repairs and tell everyone I know about Data Drive!

First, I would just like to state that I am not an employee or personal friend of the DataDrive offices. My positive review stems primarily from the excellent customer service and above and beyond repair I received from this store. I recently was looking into recovering some old files from a computer that I no longer use, and through some research I discovered DataDrive.
I brought my desktop to them for recovery service, and they promptly recovered what I needed. They even did EXTRA service when there were files I forgot to mention to them to recover! These gents are exceptional in all that they do, and even though I have relocated to another country, I would strongly recommend these guys for all of your computer needs.

We have got here a couple times for problems with our computers/external hard drives and they have been very courteous and prompt. For our external drive they were able to retrieve the lost data. For our computer that would not boot up, they found the problem, and fixed it. In both cases the work was completed that day.
