Atomic Geeks

This week my work laptop crashed. I could have lost thousands of documents. I needed someone local to help. I have never had any luck with the small IT companies or the Best Buy type. I found Atomic Geeks. I called them and I didn't have to drive to their office. They sent a tech to my house the same day. They notified me the techs are vaccinated and wear masks.

When he arrived he know exactly what the problem was and how to correct it. He was very professional and knowledgeable. I know a lot of IT guys and he was experienced. Now I have found someone to help with my IT needs. They did an excellent job!

I had a great experience with Atomic Geeks! Very helpful and very friendly! You don't have to go anywhere, they will come to you, they picked my laptop up and dropped it back off to me two days later working better then ever! I highly recommend!

I called to make an appointment for help syncing my cloud service. I was told it would be a $59 charge which would be waived if the work was done. William was 50 minutes late to start with. Than after two hours of more talk than solutions, he announced that the charge is $350. I almost fainted in disbelief. So what did he do? He gave me $50 off. No consolation. He tells me he charges $175/hour. If I had known that upfront I would never have agreed to have him come. So beware!

Atomic Geeks has resolved my problem. It did take a while but I am satisfied with the installed DVD. Atomic Geeks does good work unless you need follow up. In August my All-in-One PC was zapped due to a power surge. I called Atomic Geeks and was told because they have worked successfully on All-in-One PCs. They picked up the PC and after a couple of days later they called to say that when opening the PC the case broke and could not be repaired.

I asked if they had a PC tower and they did at a reasonable price so I said OK. A couple of days after receiving the PC with old data copied to it I checked out the HP DVD writer 1270r drive only to discover it would not open. I could hear it try to open it but that was all. Called Atomic Geeks to inform them and was told they must not have checked out the DVD drive and most people didn't use them.

Well we do. I was told someone would bring a drive out but after a long wait and several more calls I was told they would be out in a day or two. After more calls I was told the same thing. They finally left a phone message saying they could come that day, but we weren't home. The last time they told me they would put me back on the list. I should have been on the list since August.

Why did I get taken off his LIST? It has been six months now and I'm still waiting. The simple solution to this situation would have been for Atomic Geeks to set up an appointment to fix the problem instead of coming "when they were in the area".

A Microsoft Rep remoted into my WIN 10 laptop to resolve a permissions problem. In repairing Windows, she inadvertently erased all the folders and files in my C drive! I called William of Atomic Geeks and, in spite of a full schedule, he dropped everything and came to our rescue. He spent several hours here, restoring the machine via Carbonite and working through the issues, reinstalling Windows and getting us ops again.

That was 5 days ago and today he called back to check on me. We found two other Windows 10 problems and he fixed those remotely today. I will never call Microsoft again for help. William is the MAN!

These guys picked up the phone and came and picked up my computer for assessment the same day. Three days and $99 later they very thoroughly and politely told me that my newish Lenovo ThinkPad was deader than a doorknob. It's still under warranty so I will send it back to the manufacturer. My doorstop machine was personally delivered back to my front door. It's a sad outcome but I was very happy that the process worked, it wasn't too pricey, and I got good customer service. Thanks, Atomic Geeks, if I need you again I will not hesitate to call. :-

Since 10/15 I have used Atomic Geeks several times. I have always been extremely satisfied with the end result. Whatever my issues were big or small he gets the job done. Will continue to Use William Allen.

I have been using Atomic Geeks for about 7 or 8 years. I have used others but always go back to them. Their knowledge far surpasses the others. I have always found them professional courteous and very easy to deal with. I will continue to deal with them and recommend them to others.

Very good experience. Thought I lost my data. They recovered my data and got my computer back up the same day. They also gave me guidance to help prevent future catastrophes.
