My family has these old 8mm films from the 1960s through '80s, taken by my grandfather. My parents' wedding, family gatherings and visits, things like that. Things we haven't seen since the late '80s before my grandfather died. I heard a radio spot for SysQuick on Shine FM, and thought I'd give them a try. Amy seemed friendly and professional in her email responses, so I decided to try a few reels.
When I came in to drop off the reels, two of her co-workers sang her praises as I waited for her to finish working with another customer. Once it was my turn, we talked about the process, different options, pricing, etc. I left confident that my ancient movie reels were in good hands. Two days later, they're done! I picked up my reels and a thumb drive, headed home and checked out the transfers. Beautiful!
I mean, they're really old and had some issues due to their age, but I was thankful they all survived the decades pretty well. And the video quality and color rendering are very good considering the 8mm film source. Would I recommend SysQuick? In a heartbeat. In fact, I'm bringing them the rest of my reels (over 30 in all) after the holidays. Great work, professional and friendly approach, in a really cool little shop that's close by! So no shipping. :-) What more could you want?

If I could give SysQuick 10 stars I would! They digitized more than 2200 35mm slides that my late father took back in the 50's, 60's and 70's. Literally a large paper box full of boxes of slides that had been sitting around for 30+ years either in an apartment storage cage or in a spare room in my house (which is not climate controlled). SysQuick didn't just digitize the slides they painstakingly reviewed and enhanced each one to make it the best quality it could be.
Then they stored each box of digitized slides in its own NAMED folder. I was blown away by their level of service even before I started looking at the slides. The quality was amazing. It was a very emotional experience to see these images - in such beautiful quality - after so many years. I can't thank SysQuick enough for restoring these beautiful memories and at such a reasonable price. The result is priceless and I highly recommend SysQuick!

I cannot thank SysQuick enough for my transfers from VHS to CD & a flash drive. They were very quick & called me to advise when completed. I had one VHS tape from 24 years ago from a month long vacation trip from Balto., MD to Port Angeles, WA through several states of the mid west & north west. I did not know how much could be converted to CD since it was so long ago. SysQuick called me prior to the transfer to advise me of the extra cost which was really good.
Also a short one of my siblings from over 50 years ago. I am telling my daughter about it so she can have her tapes done of her boys when they were little. They are all very friendly and courteous. I had questions about things which they explain. Thank you again!

I originally had my wedding from 1999 recorded on VHS. I took it to SysQuick to have it transferred to DVD. Amy did an awesome job! I was able to share it with my family members that were unable to attend. I don't know if you will ever know how much this means to me. Thank you very much. You guys are awesome!

We brought my wife's Macbook in on a Friday right at closing and my man had it up and running an hour later. Given the weekend, I planned on picking it up early the following week. Instead of shelving it until we picked up, he spent some extra time testing the unit and updating the software/OS over the weekend while it was in his possession so that we'd pick it up faster and smoother than we left it (not to mention, working.) He didn't charge us a dime for the aftercare because he said he felt like he needed to earn our money after fixing the main issue so fast. A+ for the customer service! I'd definitely recommend Sysquick for whatever you might need!

My nephew damaged the HDMI port on his PlayStation 4 about a month ago and he came to me in a panic because he was no longer able to play Fortnite every minute of his free time at that point. I told him to give me the console and that I would have it fixed for him within 2 weeks. Little did he know that I was taking it to Sysquick for repairs, meaning it would be fixed much sooner than expected at a very affordable price! Five days later I returned his PS4 and as anticipated, it worked perfectly and he hasn't had a problem with it since! Thank goodness for SysQuick!

Never go to the Apple Store for repairs again. Just come here. The guys at this place are friendly, knowledgeable, and quick. I came in with a laptop that wouldn't turn on. The Apple Store had told me it would cost $500 and take 3 days or more to fix. Christian took one look at it, pressed a few buttons, and it turned on. I was able to back up data I thought I had lost and my computer is working again. And at the end of the day, they didn't charge me a dime. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. It is the best.

These guys are awesome! I had a Japanese PS3 that was shutting off by itself after about 10 seconds of being turned on continually. I was worried I was going to be out of luck and after talking with Sony, they essentially told me to just buy a PS4 or a new PS3. I thought I was going to lose all my data and be out a bucket of cash. I called SysQuick and they immediately knew what was wrong with it.
I brought it over within an hour and within 2 days it was back and running great with no problems. Price for the repair was $50. Pretty cheap considering a full disassemble, repair, and cleaning. I'd recommend them to anyone who needs work on a console.

I needed a cheap laptop to hold me over while my usual laptop was temporarily out of commission. I called and was told they had a few old machines for $50. When I got there, they had exactly what I wanted, and they took the time to make sure the open source software I needed would load on the machine I chose. They were really friendly and helpful. They also had a giant bowl of chocolate candy on the counter. Yum.

Juan and Junior are life savers! On 2 accounts they have saved my ass and saved me money on repairs for my MacBook Pro. First occasion my computer totally died for no apparent reason. I took it to mac daddy right away, turns out a spill that happened months ago killed my logic board and top case. They didn't have parts in stock for a 17 so they suggested going to apple to save me time.
Being well aware that apple would erase my drive and also charge me $1000 for a spill (not under warranty). They swapped my drive for a blank they had, cleaned the inside and sure enough apple didn't see any signs of a spill and I got everything fixed for only $100 by apple. Took my laptop back to mac daddy, they re-installed my hard drive and didn't charge me anything for their help! Also, recently I had a hard drive failure they managed to salvage most of my data, install a new 1tb drive.
I returned with questions for more of my data to be recovered and they were very helpful and supportive. They managed to squeeze the last bit of of what was left on my drive and didn't even charge me the full data recovery fee since I always come to them first! These guys are awesome! If you have any problem with your mac go to mac daddy before you go anywhere else!

After the apple store lied to me and tried to charge me over $1000 for a new logic board to fix a computer, MacDaddy found that the issue was actually the hard drive and fixed it with no problem. I cant believe i was about the throw my laptop away, only to have it fixed for a couple hundred dollars. Honestly, these guys are the nicest, most honest people i have worked with in years. I will go back to them for any problems i ever have with my macs again.

MacDaddy provides very good service. I was very frustrated with my Imac's hard drive having issues and it was finally recommended to me from Apple that I seek out a Data Recovery Service. They recommended MacDaddy. it was only 30 minutes until they closed but I called and they agreed to wait for me even though they were going to close and I was 30 minutes away. They provide EXCELLENT customer service and peace of mind. They are definitely my go-to company for all my Apple Products.

MacDaddy is the the new face of Major Mac in Bel Air. Juan and his team of technicians are the best thing to touch your mac in Harford County. They are an authorized Apple service provider and definitely know their stuff. They also sell used computers (even know you'd barely know they've been used) and can do simple upgrades such as more RAM, bigger hard drive, etc. Definitely give them a shout.
