Melanie and I wanted to let you know we are so pleased with the work you did for us. We were very skeptical about computer repair "experts". From our experience, they charge you a ton of money to tell you they can't fix your machine and will have to wipe your system. However, you were great. You were prompt, knowledgeable and relentless in your virus removal efforts.
But I have to tell you, the icing on the cake was the bill. Frankly, we were expecting double what you charged. It is comforting to know we now have someone to take care of our computer needs who can also work within our budget. We will highly recommend Computer Repair of Greensboro every chance we get.

I'm not much of a review writer but I felt compelled after my experience with Computer Repair of Greensboro on Monday. My laptop got infected with a very serious virus; completely locked down. I had a webinar I had to be on at 3:00 PM that day. It was mandatory and I could not miss it. I called Computer Repair of Greensboro. Phillip answered immediately and after I explained my situation he told me to bring it in right away.
I called 3 other places before I called him and not one even considered helping me out. I rushed over to his place and I sat there while he worked on mine and several others at the same time. 2 hours later I was good to go and the laptop was running like new. No lost data. Super nice guy and very knowledgeable. I would rate them 5 stars, no question. Thanks Phillip!

I have very BEST experience with computer repair of Greensboro. My old computer totally shot down, i cannot even start it. Phillip very queekly made diagnostic and order part for me. Few days later my computer was fixed, and even look like new .Good location, friendly service, professional employee Highly recommended!

If you're a smart person that can figure things out, and you don't need to replace any hardware, save your money and fix it yourself. i'll give credit where it's due, Phillip seems like a good hearted man upon first talking to him via google chat, however his prices are completely ludicrous. I recently got paid and decided to go visit and was told by a lady that simply plugging a bootable flashdrive (as a computer geek friend told me, a decent computer repair shop always has bootable flashdrives/USB keys on hand, rarely will have to make one specifically for you. sometimes they even have better ways of reinstalling OS software.) and installing free software would cost me $125. i didn't have that kind of money for such a trivial task, so i decided to spend the $65 i did have on a 3.0 Sandisk Flashdrive and a Chromebook. i received my chromebook in the mail today and the entire process, from key creation, to when i downloaded chrome on my repaired laptop, has only taken an hour. this review is being made from a laptop i have since repaired, and upgraded with better software, for half the price this "business" is charging good folks for PC repair.
There may have been some misunderstanding, or maybe covid has made people desperate, either way i'm just one man who had a bad experience and needed to voice my concerns. i wish everyone who works there well, and i wish good luck on anyone needing computer work done.

They really helped me in a pinch. On the second to last day of classes my computer got the "blue screen of death". I had assignments and huge exams coming in the next few days. I called and explained the situation and was invited to bring it in. I paid for the rush job, and Phillip did not disappoint. Within 5 hours I was back up and running. He explained to me the problem and what steps he took to fix it.
He also addresses some of my other minor concerns. He and Beth were courteous, professional, and kind. I would highly recommend Computer Repair of Greensboro for any computer repair needs.

I still can't be believe I was sitting in the parking lot of another computer repair place before we decided to take our chances with Computer Repair of Greensboro. From our very first consultation, I felt confident and reassured that my computer was in good hands. I use my computer for work and it was a hefty investment so that was very important to me. Phillip and his team communicated well throughout the day entire process.

My experience at Computer Repair of Greensboro was second to none. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I was fairly certain that I was going to have to scrap my All in one PC before I arrived or at a minimum be forced to start all over losing my apps and data. However, they were super quick to find the issue and had it repaired extremely fast and under the estimate. Amazingly as well, nothing was lost and my PC is running better than it ever has. I highly recommend Computer Repair of GSO.
