What a great resource! I brought a MacBook that had been damaged by water, and they went out of their way to try to repair individual components (capacitors and whatnot) before finally ordering a replacement screen. And then, when I mentioned that I had another MacBook with a broken hinge, they kept they held onto the old laptop's screen assembly and used it to repair my hinge!
In the end, SF Computer saved me $300-$400 over what it would have cost to go to a place that just figures out what parts are damaged and orders new ones (e.g. the Apple Store). And I didn't have to make an appointment!

Max is as good as it gets with computer tech and repair. Great buys and trade in value too. I've been going to him for nearly a decade. I tend to hold on to computers way too long and he manages to always get my work off and on to a newer model before it's gone forever. Purchased a couple of editing bays from Max as well. Done a lot of business. He's a whiz, the very best. Solved a lot of tech headaches. Go see him!

When it comes to custom gaming PC builds, Max is best there is. I ran all the parts and components that I wanted to use for my build by Max and he gave his honest opinion about it every step of the way. His skills in building PC's are incredible, especially his attention to detail. I needed a few small screws that I couldn't find anywhere and Max had the exact size I need at his shop, which saved me a lot of time trying to find them.

Max is absolutely the best. He is truly a computer expert. I would recommend him for any computer or network problem you might encounter. I've taken my computer and networking issues to him for 7 years and I am impressed every time. He has solved difficult problems with both Windows and Apple computers. I give a whole-hearted recommendation: He does excellent work, his pricing is fair, he explains the problem/solution set clearly, and he is both kind and modest. When you need digital help, you won't find anyone better than Max.

I have been going to Max for computer repairs and advice for a lot of years. Two days ago I took to him my wife's PC which has been soooooo slow for years, and I was sure we'd need to get a new computer. Well, Max recommended - and installed a 1 Terabyte SSD (solid state drive) - to replace the old disk hard drive. My wife's reaction to her "new" computer: "Amazing, totally transformed my computer - it is now SOOOO fast. I am thrilled!" Thank you Max for being so good at what you do!

My custom DAW PC workstation was not starting. I was on the phone and emails for days with PC Audio Labs (builder) for help. Out of desperation I had to find a local repair. I took it to Max at Kingly who was able to determine that there was a crack in one of the RAM slots. He got it working so I can complete a recording project. Max saved the day! I highly recommend him if you need a honest repair technician. His service wasn't great it was exceptional.

My external hard drive became corrupted and another repair center I visited said that data recovery would be impossible. When I visited Max's shop, he was able to explain in detail the problem, potential solutions, and price estimates. He was very thoughtful, knowledgeable, and patient in answering all of my many questions. Despite others saying that the data was unrecoverable, Max was able to safely recover hundreds of gigabytes worth of priceless family photos and memories, and transfer it to my new hard drive.
Not only that, the servicing time was fast and the price matched with his original estimate in addition to being very fair compared to other competitors. My family and I couldn't be more thankful for Max's amazing service!

Max was easily the best computer technician I have ever worked with. I was having troubles with my custom built PC and was calling computer stores all over town. Before hearing about Kingly through a family member, I had tried reaching out to 4 computer stores prior. Each and every computer store either tried to over charge me (And I know because I work in the coding industry), or were incredibly rude after scheduling issues. Max was responsive, gave real prices, and works incredibly quick. I don't expect to use any other computer stores as long as I live in LA.

If I could give 10 stars I would! Max was great. My computer needed to be upgraded and Max explained everything that he would be doing and why it needed to be done. Very informative. When I dropped off my computer I knew exactly how much I would be charged so there weren't any surprises when I came to pick it up. I have already recommended this repair shop to some friends. Also very COVID safe. All interactions are done outside the front door, with masks worn and sanitizer on stand by.

I took my Dell laptop to him because I thought I had a virus because it was running really slowly. While I waited, Max installed his "secret weapon" on my computer to check for viruses. He didn't find any viruses so he suggested a number of things that I could do when I got home to improve my computer performance. He didn't charge me for his diagnostic check and was very professional and personable. I felt confident that he knew exactly what he was doing and I'll definitely come back to him should I ever have any future computer issues.
