Apple sent me back an old laptop that they couldn't do anything with and Eric got it working and updated with ease. He is a pleasure to work with and I already have more computer projects lined up for him to tackle. So happy to have his talent and service in my neighborhood.

Travis was FANTASTIC! Honest, courteous, straightforward, helpful, and didn't make me feel like I was lost when it comes to tech (although I am!). I called, he told me to come by, he had my computer in hand within 30min and I picked it up the next day! Simple large data transfer but I had some items that I had to ensure were not lost or corrupted. He handled the job like the professional that he is.

Called Travis on a Sunday, last minute, didn't think I'll get anyone that fast, had to have my computer installed before Monday for my new job, it was a complicated deal, tons of different elements to it, he responded right away offer to come to my place within 45min, spent about an hour, was knowledgeable, super fast, very friendly, I will recommend him in a heart beat! Travis was super responsive, extremely fast, and had everything back to me working one less than 5 hours. He definitely had a busy day as he fit me in between 3 other projects he was working on and had someone right after me pick up their work as well. I had a computer that broke on a work trip and the company I brought it to for the data recovery missed pulling the only thing I really needed off of it.

I explained what I needed to find and Travis had the data pilled off of the old computer and transferred to the new one AND he had the old computer working - all within 5 hours! The guys in Vegas said it was going to take 5 days to get the old computer working. If you are looking for computer repair or any IT work, Travis is your man!

Travis was very knowledgeable and gave me the down low on exactly what was going on with my MacBook Pro and the options I had are going about fixing it. Very transparent and customer experience focused. I'll definitely hit him up next time I need help with my electronics.

I started working from home about a year and a half ago and have always dreaded the possibility of needing a computer tech to make a house call, but this time I was stuck and needed help asap. I found 'I Hate Computers' through an online search. I like the fact that this is local company in my town with a brick & mortar location, and they have a lot of 5 star reviews.

I called and left a message, got a response in about an hour and the house call appointment was a couple hours after. Travis arrived on time, was professional and friendly and I felt comfortable having him in my home. He isolated the issue, did some diagnostics and I was back to work in about a half hour. I will definitely use the folks at 'I Hate Computers' if I experience issues in the future.

Travis was very helpful over the phone and upfront and honest with his price quote. He also was willing to wait for me at the store before he had to leave for another appointment. Very accommodating.

Travis was great and responded in less than an hour. I was totally hacked last week and could get no emails from either hotmail or outlook. He found all the hackers and how they were deferring all me emails to a conversation and then responding to them and marking them as read. I am so glad I contacted him because I had not idea how serious it was. Travis was a life saver and I would highly recommend him

Omg! Travis who is the owner of this company was amazing! He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, experienced and had the patience of a saint! I called and he immediately called me back, set up a time within a couple of hours. He fixed my computer problem by creating a new method of using the scanner. Best of all, his prices were very reasonable. If you have any computer/printer/scanner issues I very highly recommend that you use Travis at "I Hate Computers"! If I could have given him 10 stars I would have!

A speaker on my Lenovo laptop went bad - I used Travis based on other reviews and was very pleased with my experience - he was easy to coordinate with and turnaround on the repair was quick.

For this urgent repair of my rather old computer, Travis was knowledgeable, thorough and extremely competent! I was having overheating issues and zoom glitches that were shutting me down during the most inopportune moments. I was rather anxious as the down time was negatively impacting my business, but the swift turnaround and steady, even keel of Travis' disposition were far beyond what I expected. I'm completely happy with the results and HIGHLY recommend this business!

Travis is the best! With the craziness of me online teaching and our 3 kids doing online learning, he has made our WiFi seamless! No more glitchiness and no more dropping out of Google Meets. Life is good!

Actually really nice guy who knows his stuff. I had messed up my PC and screwed over my PSU and HDD. Got it fixed it no time and was very methodical with his methods. 10/10 from me.

My Dell laptop was locking up because I was out of hard drive space. I called Travis and he was able to give me tips to keep working and ordered a drive with 3x the space for next day delivery. I brought him the computer after my work day and got it the next morning. He understood how critical it was to have my computer and made the downtime as little as possible. He is a nice guy that seems very honest and I was happy with the price I had to pay. Definitely a shop I would use again.

Travis really knows his stuff and couldn't be easier to work with. He connected to my system remotely and fixed all my software problems in about 40 minute. Great experience - I highly recommend him.

I had some internet connection issues with my LG 70 inch TV. Spent 6 hours with AT&T here and 2 hours with LG on the telephone. Calling someone to repair a TV is not something I am used to anymore, but I called Travis based on previous reviews. I had several options from buying a new $1800 TV, having someone else who was going to charge over $500 or not being able to stream Netflix, Prime etc on this TV at all. Travis came out on time, diagnosed the problem and recommended a fix that cost far less than the other options. He is a true professional and knows his business. If you need computer or TV repair. call him immediately and do not concern yourself with other options.

SO GOOD. They just saved me $1500-$2000! :))) Seriously wondering WHY the heck I ever went to the Apple Store to get my MacBook Pro fixed before. I wish I found this guy months ago. Travis. Is. AWESOME. Super responsive, knowledgeable, and so patient in his explanations to a non-techie. He made sure I understood everything that was happening with. my laptop, and what could use an upgrade but still be really affordable.

His recommendations saved me from having to invest in a new laptop, which is what the Apple guys and even some of my techie pals kept telling me to do. The upgrade alone that Travis gave my 2012 MacBook Pro would have cost me 3x more at The Genius Bar when I checked. Not to mention that it took less than 24 hours for the turn around from drop off to pick up -- it would have been about a week wait at the Apple Store.

My laptop now runs FASTER than when I first got it new. Honestly, don't bother going anywhere else -- he's literally 3 minutes from my house but I'd drive across San Diego for this kind of customer experience. He's worth every penny!

Computer crashed on me and tried to have it repaired back in Philly but to no avail. New battery and new ram didn't help. Came back to San Diego and called up the nearest place to me. Lucky for me, this guy knows what he's doing. I wasn't in a rush so him telling me right off the bat that he was going out of town was okay with me. As soon as he returned days later, I got the call we all want to hear. I get her back up and running. Honest, affordable and no funny business. You are now 'my guy' when it comes to fixing computers. Travis is an excellent communicator and was very patient in addressing the questions I had as he repaired my computer. He did the work in a very timely fashion and was beyond flexible with the pick up and drop off. I highly recommend using them for your repair needs. I personally feel relieved that he has corrected the mistakes I made in my attempt to build my first computer. Lastly, the work itself was very reasonably priced.

My 17 macbook pro was running very slow. Took it in for a dignostic check and turns out my hard drive was failing. They backed up all my files and swapped the hard drive with a new solid state drive. My computer is much faster now and feels new again. I would definitely recommend this place.

Ok so turned my MacBook Pro on and "nothing". So I needed help and fast. I contacted Travis with I hate computers and he restored my life! He was responsive and quick! He picked up my system on a Friday night and returned it by Saturday at noon!

Oh no my computer isn't working! Well lets go through the flyers I've saved for the last five years and see if I can find a good computer person (the last guy erased ALL my files). But this guy was great....came and picked up my machine and brought it back fixed the next day with nothing missing......very pleasant and easy to talk to and if I was a lot younger......seriously though I would recommend this company.
