CPU Vet is a home operated business committed to computer repairs and other tasks of a technical nature. Remote repairs require a broadband internet connection. They also require a piece of software to be downloaded and installed prior to the repair. If the computer is beyond a remotely repairable state, the in-home repair would apply. There will be no charge if we are unable to determine the problem. If we can determine the problem but the computer is not repairable, only a diagnostic fee will apply. We will also honor our competitors' prices. Restrictions apply.

I was born in Albany, OR and graduated from West Albany High School. After high school, I joined the Army and served for ten years. For my first six years I was Infantry. I switched to Military Intelligence for the last four. I served one tour in Baghdad, Iraq where I was in charge of the Battalion Intelligence Section. After the Army I went to Linn-Benton Community College. With the help of my GI Bill and Army College fund, I was able to get two degrees. The first is in Computer User Support and the second is in Network and Systems Administration. I am also one class short of getting a certificate in Web Development. I have worked as a high level tech for several large companies including Hewlett-Packard, Wah Chang, Samaritan Health and Oregon Freeze Dry. I also spent several years as a DJ working with professional sound equipment.

I am the coordinator for the Mid-Valley Gleaners. CPU Vet does all of my personal computer repairs and the repairs for Mid-Valley Gleaners. They are even building us a new web site at a heavily discounted price, since we are a non-profit organization. CPU Vet even did the all of the research for the hosting and found us a great host that will host our non-profit web site for free.
