Brought a year and a half old laptop in because the screen was black but you could hear windows load. Thought it was a display connection issue. Left it here and was told I would be called when they found what was wrong with the laptop. Two and a half weeks later after going out of town and returning I still had not been contacted so I called to see what was going on.

I was then told that they couldn't find anything wrong with my laptop but just as a precaution they did a virus sweep and dubugging for their advertised $98. I had no problem with this as I thought that the black screen might have been just a fluke. Take it home and that very same night it started stuttering during any kind of video play as well as the whole laptop freezing up for about 5 minutes at a time.

The stuttering sounds like Max Headrome does or when you enter the matrix. The day after I turn on my laptop and receive a notice on desktop saying that my copy of windows is fraudulent and I need to reinstall windows 7 yet all I have is a back up disc which is unable to validate windows. So now I have a laptop that is for the most part useless. I wouldn't recommend this place at all in fact I tell my friends to stay away from this hole in the wall place.
