I can always count on Richard to update and maintain my computer quckly, professionally and with humor! I'm not very computer savvy but Richard always puts me at ease. He is thorough, explaining everything is going to do up front, then follows up with a detailed list of what he has done. I don't know how, but mysterious programs seem to appear on my computer and I love the process where we go through all programs and see what I am using and what I am not. He genuinely looks for ways to optimize my computer cost-effectively and offers great tips to more efficiently handle annoying problems. He's my computer hero!

I highly recommend Alchemy Computer Service for anyone looking for their own IT department to help with specific needs and stay within their budget! Owner, Richard Jarvis, works like a personal trainer to make sure you set goals and then take you through the step-by-step process to get there. I needed software, new hardware and training! I also needed hands-on "doing the practice" in front of a live audience - that would have been totally over my head without Richard at my side to help when I needed it. Richard always looks for ways to maximize what I already have to use, so I don't have to buy new.
He steers me towards best apps and ways to save time and money. I love how Richard never forgets where I need to stay on target with my goals, because each step is still a little intimidating in the ever changing technical world. Richard doesn't give up and I am confident I will go all the way with my ambitious goals to offer professional online classes, meetings, consultations and library of videos for sale to promote my small business on an international level. Richard Jarvis will take excellent care of you, and you won't get lost in jargon or buying stuff you don't need or understand!

I am not now, nor have I ever been technically inclined, which means I have to hire in expertise for my business. So I couldn't figure out why we continually had problems with our phones, internet, and computers (considering I had an IT company on hire, and I had changed Telecommunications Companies at great cost in an effort to get better internet speedy).
Despite these efforts we still had issues. Thankfully I found Richard at Alchemy Computers. He is the only person who has been here who figured out what the issues were. He worked on our phone system, installed new hardware, then did a detailed review of each of our computers and the network. He took the time to ask thoughtful questions about how often we used specific programs and made suggestions on software that would speed our systems up.
