Our technicians have an average more than 15 years of experience and are trained by or have the certifications to repair all models of equipment that Tekmediagroup inc. is authorized to repair. Average turn around time is around 1 to 3 days. Part inventory is fully stocked on most commonly used parts and we do offer same day service and RUSH service.

We are not a one man mom and pop shop that tries to repair everything, nor are we a publicly traded organization with a bottom line. I sent my lens in last year in May for repair. I needed to get the aperture diaphragm changed. When my lens was returned to me, there were dust particles, and finger prints on the lens. Other than that, the zoom was stiff and the lens was not focusing from the edges. I took it back and they did not fix the issues. I sent it back twice after that but the issues was still not resolved.

I even asked them if they can show it to another technician, but I was told there is no one else who can fix it. It was worse than before and I spent $393 on it. The customer service I received, has been terrible. I am thoroughly annoyed. I want to get this issue fixed, you can email me for more information. I am absolutely disappointed by the service and the lens is of no use to me anymore.

I have a canon 400mm f2.8 IS which is no longer serviceable by canon. The autofocus was hunting and would not lock on. I brought it to tek media group for repair. The lens now functions like new again. Repair was completed in a timely manor.

I was having a issue with a B&O Beomaster 3000, amp. Was getting very low volume for my turntable, and after communicating with them, and getting an estimate for $900+, agreed to send it in for repair. Even though I only had $170 into it. The service was quick and the 3000 was returned in just over a week. They also replaced my British Plug for a 110 US plug.

After receiving the unit back, I was very excited to plug it in, but to my disbelief, the same situation, low volume, was prevalent. I got the technician on a video chat and i demonstrated the problem. They said, check the cartridge on the phonograph. I did and that fixed the problem. So it turns out that I was billed for $900 worth of parts and labor, for stuff that was not the problem. No discounted price was offered. Not happy. Complaining to others so you are all aware to be sure of what your trying to fix before you commit with them.

Extremely fair pricing. My printer works the best it has in the 10 years I've had it. I definitely intend on sending all my techs there and to continue using them in the future.

I was charged twice, once for repairs not done by the tech and second for the actual repairs done to the printer. I was told one thing by the tech and he's telling customer service another thing. If I see him again I will be wringing him by his pencil neck. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Is this company still in business? They've been fixing my company's Video Monitors for years and I have 2 large TVs that were left with them 6 months ago and haven't heard anything back from them about it. We have called and stopped by the shop multiple times and there has been a sign on the door that said they were temporarily closed. If anyone from Tek Media Group sees this post please respond with some contact info so I can get ahold of you. Thanks.

I sent a lens with a broken barrel to fix, and when it was time to send it back to me (I decided not to fix it given their estimate) they wouldn't do it for months. Eventually, after the nth email they sent the lens, and I received a lens that had a perfect barrel but couldn't connect to the camera. My lens was operable, this was not. They even charged me to send it back after they ignored my emails for months. They also refused to believe that it wasn't my lens. The worst service ever.

David and the rest of the crew did an excellent job restoring a 20 year old plus B&O turntable for me. I was kept in the loop the entire time, advised of what needed to be done every step of the way and was even called by David on two separate occasions requesting what my wishes were and how I wanted the unit packaged for return shipping. Bottom line, my customer experience with TEK was excellent, but even better the turntable sounds brand new with vinyl records from 1963 all the way up to the early 90's. As a purest when it comes to audio I could not be more satisfied. Excellent experience and workmanship. Thank you.

Its rare to find a company having both the knowledge/experience and customer service to write home about. These guys really know their stuff and go all out to accommodate you as a customer. My experience was with a B&O speaker. They found the problem and showed me what options I have. They connected it to multiple devices to show & see what the issue is and how to fix it. In summary, if you need help with your electronics, this is definitely the place to go. Just to mention, all their employees are a jewel in Tek Media's corporate crown.

My Epson 3880 printer was having problems and I was in the middle of a big project. I took it to Tek Media and they rushed the repair for me and at a reasonable price. They're all very professional and genuinely nice people. This is my new "go to" place for tech repairs.

I have a Tamron camera lens (70-200mm f/2.8) that needed repair to the zoom ring as result of me having dropped it. No one would touch it, including Tamron, on the basis that it was a "grey market" lens (not necessarily counterfeit, but illegally imported into the US, which I bought used on eBay, and worked fine upon receipt). I searched for and contacted TEK Media Group that claims to repair many brands of A/V equipment, including Tamron. TEK MG not only repaired it at a fair price, they did so in a week, including shipping time.

They kept me constantly updated on the progress through email, via their web portal, and by phone. I got the lens back today and it's back to perfect working order! Fantastic work and fantastic customer service. I'll definitely use them again for any future repairs and highly recommend them to all my photographer friends!

Excellent customer service! I shipped my broken lens to them, they called me within 5 minutes of receipt (I know because I had just received delivery confirmation from FedEx) to let me know the lens had arrived and they will look at it right away. They identified the problem and required parts within days, parts ordered, and ultimately repaired in only a couple weeks.

They packaged the lens incredibly well, sealed in a bag, wrapped in bubble wrap, boxed, wrapped in more bubble wrap and boxed again. They wanted to make sure the lens made it back to me safe and sound. My lens works perfectly now. All in all, I am extremely happy with Tek, and if I ever have the misfortune of damaging my equipment, they will be the first people I call.

If you need any repair for your electronics this is the place to go. Very high degree of businesses ethics: honest, friendly and helpful. I have a 220V Behringer mixer that I want it to fix without using external power converter. I called several places and the best one I found was $50 to give me an estimate. Then I found TEK media group through online search.

I called the number and I was told that they offer free estimate. I took the unit to the store in Burbank, David who was at the front desk was so friendly. Within 2 days I had my answer. I was told it will be less expensive for me to buy an external converter then having the unit switched to 110V. Because the switch will require some of the boards to be changed.

I went to pick up my unit and then was allowed to enter the shop and talk to the technician so he could show the kind of converter I needed to buy. I can't thank them enough for their honesty and for thinking what is best for me. All this without me paying a penny. I could have given them 10 stars if possible.

Tekmedia took me through a 5 month ride with many emails and phone calls to repair my Tamron 15 30. They never did fix it and kept making me send it back and kept insisting my camera was broken, even though I use it often and I sent them video proof of it working with multiple lenses. Whenever they said they'd get back to me they almost never did.

Even when it was like we'll call you in 5 minutes. They then promised a refund only to say they would have to get it approved and they'd let me know after I'd been through all this. Only threatening them with reporting to the licensing board and FTC made them acquiesce. The last time they tried to fix the lens they insisted everything was tested and working perfectly. Attached is a picture of the back the lens hanging loose obviously not useable in any fashion. If you use them dont speak to Dave if you have problems. He has no power and will only try to stall you. Andy, if you are reading this your tech is incompetent.

Wow. I am so glad I found these folks. I know I should never have purchased an Epson product but I'm a glutton for punishment and sure enough the projector I bought malfunctioned just beyond the warranty like all of their products are designed to do. (One would think that a $3,500 projector would last longer than the lamp inside it, but I digress) Epson played me by pretending they had never heard of the problem before (a simple internet search exposed that lie) but they did recommend TEK Media Group and I suppose I can at least thank them for that.

I assumed that the TEK staff would be knowledgeable and professional from the reviews I read but I was not expecting them to be as kind and compassionate as they were with regard to my situation. It's always comforting when you feel like you are dealing with a friend as opposed to a company concerned only with making money off of you. It felt like they were just as upset about the faulty projector as I was.

They even discounted the labor costs! I thought I misheard the repair pickup date since it seemed like an impossibly quick turnaround time and it would have been finished as promised if Epson had sent a replacement part that was not already defective. The staff at TEK obviously take customer service very seriously and kept providing the appropriate progress updates.

And thanks to them, the projector is back and works perfectly (for as long as Epson will allow, anyway) and I have already made plans to take several other electronic devices there that I have been putting off repairing in hopes of finding someone I can trust. And now I finally have!

Took in two of my projectors in to get repaired. They set me up as a customer with a very nice web based interface for checking in on my repairs. They diagnosed the problems, fixed it, and got them returned to me within a week. Excellent job and service. I will be using them as my goto projector repair place as other places have been NIGHTMARES. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Not impressed in the slightest. It took me two times to write them off. Do yourself a favor and go directly to the manufacturer FIRST. 1) Despite my having repeatedly written and verbally explained what problem my first piece of equipment was exhibiting, they failed to do the test I requested. I gave up after a couple weeks of turning blue in the face.

They were quick to give up on what I was asking, and I couldn't understand why. 2) They understandably cannot cover Out of Warranty issues and, if you do have a real problem with your item, they simply do the homework of telling you how much it would cost for them to perform an exceedingly expensive repair on your item Out of Warranty. To their credit, they did tell me they couldn't do the work. and they didn't charge me for it. Fortunately I got the manufacturer to perform my expensive repair under warranty!

I just picked up my AJ-HPX2000 today 1/30/2018. They did a outstanding job on fixing my camera. Why go somewhere else check Tek Media Group out. The service and people are very expensive and great to deal with. When I brought my camera there it was in bad condition. When I picked it up it was in a five-star condition and great warranty. I'm glad I didn't see these mixed reviews before I sent in my Beosound 2300 for repair. I had a great service experience. Sadly, B&O seems to be on the decline. They closed all the stores in the San Francisco Bay Area. My 20 year old Beosound 2300 was in need of service. The glass doors didn't open anymore. The service rep from TEK emailed and called after I filed a service ticket, gave me tips how to pack the unit for safe shipping.

Within days I had an estimate. Yes, it was expensive, but if I get another 20 years our of it, it is worth every penny. Two weeks later I have my gem back, working great, and looking like new.

I had a Nikon lens with faulty auto focus that needed repair and was quoted a $250 repair estimate. I quickly shipped my lens. Today, I received a quote of $750 -- triple the initial estimate. Of course, I said no to these band of crooks, but wasted both time and postage both ways. Avoid this disreputable shop. You'll be glad you did.

Tek Media Group will waste your time, overcharge you and damage your equipment. Brought in a lens for repair, they kept it for more than a month (and couldn't ever give an accurate estimate on when the repairs would be completed) and then when I finally get the lens back, they ruined the autofocus, so it's not functional now. I am demanding a full refund so I can take my equipment to a repair shop that is actually capable of repairing equipment. Tek Media Group is NOT capable of repairing your equipment. Save your money, save our equipment: find a different repair shop.

Have owned a B&O Beosound 8 for many years. Sadly, the iPod dock failed and the aluminum beauty ring that protects the right speaker suffered a nasty dent. Hesitated to get service for a 7-year-old device. Would parts be available? Would the cost of repair exceed the value of the device? On the other hand the device was in excellent shape and repairs would make it like new.

I discovered that B&O uses TEK for warranty repairs, so I contacted them directly via telephone and explained my problem to David. He was confident my repairs could be made for a reasonable fee and the estimation would be free of charge, save for the shipping. UPS'd it to TEK from the Bay Area on May 30; they received it on June 3. Dave called me with a detailed estimate.

The fee was totally fair and appropriate for a sound system of this quality. On June 7, Dave called me to report my Beosound was fixed. The docking interface and beauty ring were replaced with new parts. It arrived at my door a few days later and was very well packed. Happy to report the Beosound worked flawlessly and it looks good as new. After about 15 hours of use over past several days: no issues, just clean sound.

Great service across the board. Within a span of two weeks, this device went from useless to good as new for a fair price. Excellent and courteous communication, attention to detail, and a fast turn-around made it clear these guys take their business AND their customers seriously. Wish I had done this sooner!

I was on a live shoot a few months ago and one of my Canon lens (EF200)the one most important to my shoot would not focus correctly. I called Tekmediagroup requesting possible same day service after numerous unsuccessful calls to other service companies in the area. The customer service person was courteous and empathetic to my plight and after a brief hold was able to get me in the shop for immediate service.

Within an hour and a half my lens was repaired and I was able to finish my shoot with only a minor delay., thus avoiding a potential catastrophic outcome. Tekmediagroup provided expert service with a keen eye to customer satisfaction. I recommend this service center highly.

I dropped off my Sony EX1 for repairs at Tek Media. They have great service. I've called around and Tek Media was the one place that offered free estimates. They contacted via email with the estimate. Repaired was done in 2 days. On top of that I got 6 month warranty on the repairs they performed. They have great prices on top of great customer service. I highly recommend them to all my friends in media field. I would defiantly go back to them with other camera repairs.

These guys are amazing, they fixed and refurbished my 25 year old Bang and Olufsen 8000 speakers. their service and support are fantastic. Mike and Andy both explained what needed to be done to make them perfect. what a deal. Great prices, professional service and quick response makes these guys a real 5 star experience. top notch. I would not trust my class A audio equipment to anyone else. thank you for being such a great repair shop.
