I was impressed but the ability to accommodate me with a next day appointment. Once the technician (the owner) arrived I immediately showed him my son's gaming PC and explained the problem- no video output. After about 10 minutes he came down qnd said he would need to take it to the shop for a diagnosis which would 2-3 days. Needless to say, we came to an agreement that I should look for service another place. I ended calling another place, they came out fixed the problem in 5 minutes and it was done.

Don't be off-put by what the shop looks like. These guys are knowledgeable; reasonably priced and committed to excellence. I actually thought that I had a bigger problem but they were able to troubleshoot and come up with a viable, cost-effective solution. I can only say thanks. I'm not a computer wizard so I really appreciated the fact that they spoke to me in English and not computerese. You cannot go wrong with these guys. Remember, don't let the physical makeup of his facilities drive you away. It's a shack but man.are they good.

I agree we with all the 5-star reviews and then some. Kurt was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. I had to upgrade my computer and it all went super smoothly. I had them take it to their shop and I recommend you do too. It's cheaper and they have all the necessary equipment there. To sum up, if you want to support local businesses, I recommend Eric''s highly.

Eric's Computers was able to fix my mom's computer. She had forgotten the password and i wasn't able to reset the computer. I'm not sure of the guy who fixed my mom's computer but he got it back to working order and was able to keep all of her files and pictures. The price was reasonable. The place is a home so just ring the bell and someone will pop out of the garage area. Will definitely be reaching out to him any future computer issues.

I have an older HP Pavilion desktop that was refreshing every few seconds. I could look at some websites and not look at some others. I took it to Eric's Computers. They work out of their garage like Hewlett & Packard did. I asked them if they could repair and give my computer a tuneup. They tested power supply, hard drives, & memory. They cleared temp. files.
They cleaned multiple infections, removed junk, & bloatware. They performed about 10 more tests and fixed things that needed fixing. They fixed my computer and now it runs great. Makes me very HAPPY. I much prefer using the desktop mouse and keyboard over the finger deal on a laptop. I give Eric's Computers 5 stars.

Responsive, reliable, definitely know their stuff when it comes to computers. Took in my MSI gaming laptop had serious issues in the software. It wouldn't even let me program anything or delete. All I kept getting was a rebooting screen. And I am no idiot when it comes to computers, this was just above and beyond. Eric's computers automatically diagnosed it and make sure it wasn't a hardware issue first before attempting anything else.
When it came to software they were able to get in there and fix it. Now I can get back to my gaming/work. A++++ from me. It's great to know you have such great techs right in your neighborhood.

This YELP IS WAY OVERDUE! I have been working mostly with CURT and his support is phenomenal and so is the rest of the staff. Recently he upgraded my 11-inch acer laptop I bought at best buy several years ago on clearance for $265.it's my field laptop (I am in construction).I increased the ram from 4 to 8 GB but the other day Curt replaced the hard drive with 1 TB of SSD and said "it's remarkably faster!" which is an UNDERSTATMENT!
This 11 inch is blazing fast all the time.and not long ago Curt recommended several systems to replace my super slow and virus infected Lenovo Desktop. It so happened he picked a DELL desktop system with 2 TB SSD and the Fastest Nvidia Graphics CARD.the GFORCE 650 along with an "Ultra Crisp" 25 - inch monitor all for $1,425 as it was a special black Friday sale that day only! Wow what a system I have loaded with the most advance flight simulator by Microsoft.
I am flying airliners all over the world and my very own GARMIN NAV equipped Cessna 172.by the way I am an engineer. Thanks ERIC'S Computers.specially grateful to CURT but the whole team is like that. The Very BEST 2021 and Beyond to you ALL! I called Eric's Computer to get help with computer that was not connecting to the internet. Xfinity said I had to call the computer help desk that something was wrong with the computer. Ugh! I am a caretaker for very sweet, hard of hearing, 80 years old woman and the internet is her lifeline. I spoke to Denny, he coached me with the issue, took the extra step to delete the extra Wi-Fi accounts so it wouldn't happen again. He solved it in five minutes and he didn't charge her! The smile on her face was priceless!

Today was my first time ever using "Eric's Computers". I found them here on Yelp and decided to give them a call, based on all of the positive reviews. I don't have a single regret. One of my computer's randomly froze and died. They sent out a tech by the name of Curt (sorry if I misspelled your name) who was super cool and knew exactly what he was doing.
He arrived on time, was professional, and also very easy going. Hands down, if I ever have troubles with anything computer related I will surely be calling them back. Seriously, they kicked ass, plus, they saved me a trip to the dweeb squad, or whatever they're called over there.

We have 2 Companies in the Cabinetry Business. We have been using Eric's Computers for over 3 years now. They are very conscientious about giving them your computer up for repair--a object you need and use every day! They have a very good turn-around time, not to mention, they always do an outstanding repair job. Their recommendations are always spot on! Very reasonable pricing and great all around service!

Bought a refurbished Dell last year. It shuts down of it's own accord frequently. Brought it into their garage office, they kept it for 36 hours, it didn't do it, so they said they couldn't fix it. It's been doing this since day one. Everything else in my house that's connected to the internet works. It's not the internet or my connections, it's the computer.
I left them a message, finally, telling them it does this 4-5 times a week. Couldn't they "pretend" that it did it at their "office" and go from there, but no return phone call.

When there's something wrong In your computer now, Who you gonna call? No one! Please email or text, calling on the phone is rude! (and here you thought I was going to do the whole "Ghostbusters" thing, heh heh) Well, something did go wrong on our computer, and between figuring out beep codes and the inability to even boot, I had to get ahold of *someone*.
Enter Eric's Computers, with some of the highest computer repair ratings on Yelp in this area. Eric has at least two other people working with him, and I dealt with them, so I never met Eric. But everyone I worked with was knowledgeable about the issues, got to the problem and fixed it, and helpful. They even put another program on our PC to help maintain it better. Eric's has a website that's easy for us amateurs to use, too.
I thought I'd be paying a LOT to get this thing fixed, but their charges were very reasonable. The PC works great now. Quick note: Eric's Computers is a home operation. You're paying for the expertise, not the beautiful office. The home is in an area of pretty, well-maintained older homes. This home, however, is overgrown with trees and shrubberies; looks horrible.
This is likely to be a turnoff for many people. In that case, they can do pickups and dropoffs with their van. Bottom line is that Eric's Computers has top-notch computer service at a good price, regardless of his office space.

Eric and the technician (Aaron) I dealt with are professional and best of all, honest. My Lenovo T60 had a 'fan error' message coupled with a terrible grinding sound. I figured it needed a new fan based on the message and some internet research. Aaron gave me a detailed run-down of what might be wrong, how much it might cost, when it would be ready, etc.
He also noted that if the cost would exceed the estimate they would call. When the computer was ready, I found out that my machine did not need a new fan after all - instead it was really dusty and needed to be cleaned out. Instead of charging me for a new fan (as we both thought it would need it) and trying to take me for a few extra dollars, they were upfront with what was wrong and charged me a minimal shop fee. Kudos for their great work and honesty.
Eric's computers is a little ways from where I live in Walnut Creek, but absolutely worth the short drive.

I just got off the phone with Eric while he walked me through the remote fix for my computer. I'm slightly embarrassed to say my computer, that Eric built for me, was working great.... until I started deleting what I thought were old files and pictures. PANIC, this is my office computer and I'm dead in the water when it's not working. Eric was cool, calm and collected and we went through it and now everything is working fine once again.
