Don't let the fact that the storefront is a rather small kiosk fool you. These gentlemen are first rate and a pleasure to do business with. They were quick to both diagnose my computers issue and repair. They were honest in terms of repair cost - no hidden charges. Best of all, Steve and Alex constantly kept me updated on the progress of the repair. These guys are simply amazing and I would highly recommend them.

I spoke with Carlos. He was extremely helpful and was able to provide me with information and options to consider. My car hit the top right corner of my MacBook Pro and killed the screen. While the business is temporarily closed due to COVID-19, he was able to take my number and once they are allowed to reopen will give me a call. I look forward to doing business with them.

711 Computer Repair has saved me more than once. Last Ron saved me after a hard disc crash on my business computer in about a week. And last week, my design computer's motherboard fried. All my ongoing designs were in it. He was able to replace the motherboard and I was able to keep my design schedule intact. Ron is a godsend he is professional, creative and responsive. 711 Computer Repair is my go-to IT repair shop. Ron and Steve have incredibly reasonable rates and do exceptional work.

I want to recognize Steve at 711 Computer Repair for being a genuinely caring, kind person. Yesterday, I'd locked my keys and phone inside my car, and he promptly offered me help with trying to get my keys out of the car, calling AAA, and waiting with me for their arrival, all the way through until I successfully obtained my keys. In our discussion, it was readily evident that Steve is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about computers, and I will most certainly go through 711 Computer Repair for all of my future computer, laptop, and memory card needs. Thank you Steve, for helping me turn a stressful situation into a good conversation and a productive day after all!

I have been using 711 Computer Repair at 711 El Camino Real in Millbrae CA for many, many years. They have never let me down. Either Ron, Steve, or Carlos will be at their small shack (like one of those film drop off places back in the old days) from noon to 4PM on weekdays and, currently, on Saturdays. Don't worry, they take customer's computers off site when they are not manning their booth in the shopping center parking lot, equidistant from Trader Joe's, Office Depot, and Safeway.
Definitely my "Go To" place for computer repair. You can also pick up a refurbished computer from them occasionally. A great service for everyone at affordable, flat rate prices.

Carlos fixed my computer! He restored my settings and downloaded a free "MS Suite" since I lost the software from the reboot. Thelittle hut located in the Safeway parking lot is the cutest thing and super convenient. It used to be a drive inn coffee stop. You can just drive right up and drop off your laptop to them. $50 - but dependent on the work needed to be done! So cheap.

I tried updating my Dell computer to Windows 10, however, it would not boot up anymore so I decided to come here to 711 computer repairs since it was local to me. They were a great help and found a bug in the startup program of the computer and fixed it by restarting windows 10 for me. It worked out and my computer was back to normal, which shows these guys really know their stuff, and on top of that, the customer service was friendly and smooth. Now I have a go to place when I run into computer problems again.

Microsoft Outlook wasn't receiving any new emails, and gave me an error message to reduce the amount of data to free up space. Simple enough, however I received another error message which prohibited me from deleting any message data. Drove by the 711 Computers kiosk on my way to Safeway and told Steve the tech guy of the problem. Steve immediately took ownership of the problem and suggested different solutions.
I didn't have the laptop with me, so he suggested I call text him back with the specifications of my laptop and he responded quickly. We did come up empty a couple times but Steve was persistent in solving the problem and offered more solutions. By process of elimination, Steve's skills and knowledge of the operating systems eventually led me to figure out the solution which ended up being unique to my old unauthentic version of Microsoft Outlook. Based on this customer experience I'd go back to 711 Repair for future computer issues as alternative to Best Buy Geek Squad. The guy loves his job.

It is a great place to get your computer fixed. I brought in a gaming desktop to install a new motherboard after frying mine trying to install a new ssd. They were able to finish installing the motherboard and the new ssd within a day for $75. When we came back to pick up the desktop, they were friendly and welcoming allowing me to check my whole system to see if there were any complications that needed to be fixed, which there weren't any of. To sum it up if I ever needed to get install a new component or fix my mistake, I know where I would go to get a great service for a fair price.

I have been to these guys at least ten times over the past few years, and everytime they are able to take care of any issues I may have been having with my wife or my own laptop, . Most recently they had installed Windows 10 on my windows 7 laptop, I was having an issue playing a game, they installed an updated graphics card free of charge! I've dealt with 3 people at 711 computer repair and all have been exceptionally nice and very helpful.
They have a 50$ flat rate charge which is hard to beat. I highly recommend there services to everyone, the beginners or the experts, they can help you guaranteed. Thanks again 711 computer repair, I will be back.

My external hard drive would not start up and made a clicking sound. I wanted to recover all my photos, data, etc on the drive. I researched the problem online watched a few YouTube videos on what needed to be done and quickly realized that I was not qualified to try this on my own. I brought my external hard drive in and was told my the person there that they were not allowed by their boss to open the external hard drive (remove external case) but I could do it an bring it back and they would look at it.
I took it home that night and removed the 16 screws on the case and brought it back the next day and they gave me a receipt. I called everyday for an update and after about 5 days they told me to come pick it up. When I got there a different guy (perhaps the owner) told me that because I had removed the external case they could no longer work on it.
This is after his employee told me to remove the case. As a result, nobody else will work on it because I removed the case. Thank you very much you idiots for telling me to do something, accepting it after I did and then keeping it for 6 days without doing anything to it. They may be experts on some things but it was clear they had no clue when it came to my issue. Probably best to go to a legitimate repair service now I have lost all that data.

Had an issue with my Dell and wanted to get an estimate to see how much it would cost to fix. So I brought my laptop in and he attempted to deceive me by using a bad plug to give the impression it was broken and wouldn't start at all. I said I'd be back, went to the library less than a mile away, plugged in the laptop and it started up fine.

I've been using my laptop for quite a while. In today's tech world, when the new IPhone model comes every year or so, my laptop can be easily called a dinosaur: And one day It decided to die. I did my research online and figured out it was the mother board. So I ordered it on Amazon and came to 711 computer repair. Steve said that he would need 2 days to fix my laptop and that it would be $75.
He didn't ask to pay forward which was really cool. When I came back, it turned out that it was not the mother board, but the keyboard water damage. And it is much pricier. Steve never charged me, and I really appreciate him spending time on my laptop. Also, he gave me some useful advises how to get the information stored on computer back. Great customer service! I believe it's worth mentioning I have never used my laptop again. After all, technology is easily replaceable.
