I really like this place. The shop owner And the shop keep which his his store manager are extremely efficient. Their ability to resolve computer issues are on point. These guys have fantastic service mannerisms in meeting with their customers using cultural competence to meet them on their own level as to explaining things where customers can understand to the level of their computer savviness.
They provide follow up technical support to their customers over the telephone and can do anything from simple to complex repairs. I had a laptop beyond repair no one could fix this. I had brought to geek center 3x's and to another repair shop and also tried myself to work through myself however couldn't get repaired by anyone. These guys fixed like nothing in a week. 5 out of 5 easy highly recommended.

We are very happy with all of the computer and digital work we have in completed by the staff of Comset computers. Thomas really knows what he is doing! We have used them for firewall backup, updating and integrating our current computer systems, and retrieval of a hard drive that went bad. It is good to note, that we had a 98% success in retrieval of the data on the hard drive. I give Comset computer five stars.

Our most important computer in the office with shared files failed on us and Thomas came out as soon as we called and saved 99% of our files, even though we would have been lucky to save 10%. Great response time and knew exactly what had to be done to fix the problem. Had the problem fixed and everything back to normal within the week. I highly recommend Thomas and Comset Computers for any computer/server issues you may have. I firmly stand by this.

Took my kid's computer to get fixed. Thought it was a virus but turns out the hard drive was done. They were not even going to charge me for assessing the computer, but I would not let them do that. I told the guy to charge me. He took time to open the computer and assess it. I ended up buying a small, touch-screen laptop from them as a replacement at a good price. Good people at this shop!

I used to work for the owner of this computer repair shop. All I will say is your data is safe with him and if there's a job to do he'll try to come up with the cheapest and simplest way to fix it. I definitely trust to buy used hardware from them because the replacement/return policy is kind of unmatched in the area. Don't take my word for it though. & hi to everyone in portage park :

I work from home and depend on my computer. It was a Saturday and I was scheduled to work and suddenly for some reason my password to get into my computer stopped working! I got a message that it "lost my profile".I can handle a lot of issues but not this! I called Thomas, he came the same day and saved me. I recently took my relatively new Dell laptop here for a "tune-up"! They took the terrible Vista Operating System off and put on the beloved XP. if that isn't good enough, they also GAVE ME microsoft word, all norton products and 2 additional spyware programs ( Malware & Spybot). I have a smooth like-new running computer now. Thanks Comset! They were fair, honest and inexpensive. what more can you ask for! Oh ya, all for $100 bucks :)

This is the best place to go for computers. I have bought 2 computers and my laptop from here. Not only do they deliver it to your house, but they set up the computer for you. Also, they show you where some of the main information for the omcputer is and how to access it and everything. They stay by you until you understand.
