When a problem can't be diagnosed at the front counter, we will hand the computer to our expert technicians to perform an in-depth diagnostic. We start by testing all of your hardware components to ensure your problems are not caused by a faulty part. Next we check your software and recommend future action to resolve your problem. This is included in the Complete System Repair.

As IT systems have become increasingly critical to the smooth operation of a company, the importance of ensuring the continued operation of those systems, or the rapid recovery of the systems, has increased. It is estimated that most large companies spend between 2% and 4% of their IT budget on disaster recovery planning, with the aim of avoiding larger losses in the event that the business cannot continue to function due to loss of IT infrastructure and data.
Of companies that had a major loss of business data, 43% never reopen, 51% close within two years, and only 6% will survive long-term. As a result, preparation for continuation or recovery of systems needs to be taken very seriously. This involves a significant investment of time and money ensuring minimal losses in the event of a disruptive event.

Awful experience. I took my computer for a diagnostic and was told my graphics card was bad, all fine. I ordered a new one and installed it and my computer still didnt power on. After calling them to say the issue wasnt resolved I was told I'd be charged $100 for them to "fix" it. I took the computer back down and asked that they put in their GPU and show me that the computer powered on.
I get a call that now my power supply is bad and I asked if they checked it any, they wanted another $75 for a separate diagnostic. After declining that and bringing home my computer I find that they never plugged a cable back in into the back of the power supply. I plugged it in and the pc powered right up. Lazy work and not at all trying to help the customer. If you care about your computer take it somewhere else

Tech Junkies saved the day for me! My computer crashed-died this morning while I was on a zoom Critical Care nursing Symposium for continuing education credits. I need these CEU's to renew my Registered Nurse license. Tech Junkies had a computer for me to purchase! They transferred all my apps and required material from the dead computer to my new computer! I didn't miss out! Thank you so much Tech Junkies!

Had a problem with my old computer. Brought it in The staff said that they would be able to solve the problem, giving me the options for service. They were friendly and helpful, keeping me informed and updated - even though they only had it for 1 day. I was able to pick up my computer and am using it now. Very happy with the service and their attitude!

I had an awful motherboard/processor problem with my computer that was resolved very well and quickly. I was kept informed on what the problem was and the methods that could be taken to fix it. There is a very nice subscription program that covers labor fees and ensures anitvirus protection that they promote. The store is very neat and organized and many relevant objects are shelved. When I hear any of my friends in Hays mention computer problems, I immediately refer them to tech junkies and hear the same great feedback from them.

I tried to update my iMac but it was stuck in a continuous loop and would not proceed with the update. I took it to Tech Junkies - they made me aware of all that they would try. Not only did they get it working again, they gave me the newest update. They kept me posted every step of the way and always gave me options. It is so nice to have tech guys who will work on a Mac. I highly recommend Tech Junkies.

Very helpful. I am not a tech person. I do what I have to do on the computer. I asked if everything would be transferred to the new computer. I was told it will be transferred. Well I wasn't told that my email would not be on the computer or that my addresses would not be transferred. Being a church computer, I have many email addresses that I need. I could open the icon of my Quicken Deluxe but there were no numbers. It was blank.

I recently updated my computer and it would not connect to WiFi afterwards I took it to tech junkies after one of my friends said I just needed an adapter to download a new update for the WiFi and it would be an easy fix. They quoted me $170 for labor or I would need to get a new computer. After talking to my friend about this adapter I went back to tech junkies and requested my computer back and showed them the adapter I needed and the guy goes "oh yeah, that would probably work better." So to sum it all up they wanted to charge me $170 for a complete system update that didn't need to happen and for "labor." Oh and this adapter is $8.80 on Amazon:

I wish I knew his name. He was very helpful. I only needed thermal paste, but got me in-n-out quick. The lobby was very clean and the young man was very nice. I've never heard anything bad about Tech Junkies! I'd say it's the go-to for all your computer needs. If they don't have it, they will help you find it!

I took my laptop in on a Thursday and was told I would hear back by Saturday. My laptop screen was not responsive though the rest of the laptop was working just fine. I was then called the following morning to come pick up my laptop as it was turning on and working again. However when I arrived I was told that the battery had just been taken out and it was no longer working and that I would hear back the following day.
I had made an unnecessary trip and was treated as if I had made up the original phone call to pick up my laptop. I heard nothing regarding my laptop that weekend and then on Monday was called again to come pick it up. I was then told my laptop was irreparable. This was a shock as over the past 5 days I had been told they were sure they could fix it.
I was charged over $70 to receive a broken laptop back with no information regarding the problem. I was forced to wait 5 days while being told I would be receiving a guaranteed fixed laptop and being treated like I was clueless. Will never visit again and am sure to tell everyone I know of the amount I was ripped off for absolutely nothing. For the amount of time I had to wait, I expected at least some information for the amount I was forced to pay. A laptop is essential to a college student and I was very upset with the service I was shown.

I called them to ask about replacing a cracked iPhone screen, and I was quoted a price of $339, a total ripoff. Maybe they saw my out of state area code and I assumed I didn't live in Hays (I do). I told them they would have to find a different sucker to pay for a repair costing more than a new phone.
