We are a family owned and operated business. Schedule an on- site appointment today, or bring your PC to one of our two drop off locations in Carson and Minden.
DeBug was founded in January of 2000 by Keith and Debbie Barham. Keith saw a tremendous need for good quality honest computer help for small businesses and home users. He started out of an extra bedroom of their house, with a computer and answering machine. Within three months, Keith hired an answering service to help with the abundance of phone calls. Not too long after this, Keith and Debbie moved DeBug to the historic V&T Train Depot to handle the increasing calls and drop-offs.
We are now a thriving business, with locations in Carson City and Minden, and have fifteen staff members. We handle everything from home users to large corporate networks. We do a tremendous amount of work for medical clients and are able to help confirm their office technology is HIPAA compliant, and that their networks are secure.
Our goal is to help make your computer system a seamless part of your personal and business life. We consider DeBug successful when things are running smooth. It's so much easier (and economical) to prevent problems than to recover from them. We treat each client the way we like to be treated with respect and honesty. Our home users are as important to us as our large corporate clients.

People
Mike Mcgee
Computer Technician
Mike, Keith's son, has been working with Keith on computers since he was very young. He has been instrumental in the success of DeBug, handling the large numbers of computers dropped off at our office for repair. His speciality is in diagnosing and repairing hardware issues, and he has a real knack at removing spyware and viruses. Mike enjoys playing computer games, modeling electronics and spending time with his family.
Mark Morgan
Computer Technician
Mark attended Empire College as a Computer Science major. His career in the computer industry spans over a decade where he has fine tuned his IT skills. He spent two years as a field tech, three years as a QA Manager at a small OEM computer manufacturer and four years as an IT Manager for a community hospital in California. When he is not working on computers, Mark enjoys backpacking, hiking, four wheelin', and sporting clays.
Brian Cosens
Computer Technician
Brian is finishing up a 4-year degree in Information Systems from UNR. He has been working on computers and programming them since he was about 10 years old and has used a large variety of systems in that time. He has worked with everything from DOS to the latest versions of Windows, with a few systems very few people have heard of in between. Additionally, he is well-versed in Linux and Mac operating systems and has administered them in a networked environment as well as at home. Brian enjoys the variety of working at different clients' locations, every set up is a little bit different and it keeps things interesting for him. Most of his free time is spent either volunteering or working to remodel his house...when he is not reading or experimenting with some electronics project.
Keith Barham
President
Keith is a graduate of Carson High School and has been working with computers since his graduation in 1981. He started with main frames and transitioned to PC's as their speed and capability brought them into the main-stream office environment. Keith enjoys the relationships he develops with DeBug clients, and takes their computer issues seriously. Keith also enjoys camping and fishing and considers his family his most important priority.

We are very happy with DeBug ! They are very helpful and good about getting back to us when we have computer problems. Keith and his staff are all very knowledgeable. We now have Keith come to our business twice a month for a maintenance service contract. He takes such good care of our computers that lately we haven't had any major problems.

DeBug has been working with our offices for years mainly for routine maintenance and IT support. They are local and we can always count on them to respond in a quick and timely manner. Recently, we converted from a 100% paper to digital office and DeBug was there with their experienced staff and extensive research. They are extremely knowledgeable in the medical industry. Automating our systems has saved us incalculable time, money, and effort thanks to Debug. They are a wonderful to work with and a huge asset to our business!

I have watched these folks grow and grow over the years. They are the *first* recommendation I make to Nevada folks who call me asking about Computer Services. I hope you take the time to consider them for your Computer needs if you live in the Reno/Sparks or Carson City area. Quality and Integrity... Just a phone call away!

Had a broken laptop case hinge. I found parts, DeBug installed them. First, the repair was nicely done, more functional than from the factory! Completely satisfied with this aspect, which was great. Downsides were the price and the time it took to complete this repair. There was conflicting information on computer privacy - they wanted my login info.
I ended up taking the hard drives home with me. Note of caution: never give out your personal information such as passwords! Providing this information could potentially lead to someone else accessing your personal data (identity theft) and further compromise your assetts, personal/family information, etc. Other than the downside, the upside was outstanding!
