He made sure I understood his processes and exactly what work he was going to perform. Benjamin provided status updates and didn t perform any work that wasn t authorized by me. And he charged what he said he would. Excellent job!

He explained the different scenarios that could happen along with pricing, he also said if the repair was more than $250.000 he would not recommend the repair, rather use the money towards a new laptop. I had a computer network adapter issue. I tried 2 other shops before this one and both did not solve my problem. They also didn't find out what the problem was. Benjamin from the Alhambra computer services was really nice and helpful. He gave me updates on my computer every day and looked deep into it for 3 days. He found similar cases like this online with my model of computer. Turns out that this model of dell was one of the defective ones so my problem could not get fixed due to dell's system restrictions and not letting me update my adapter. Benjamin did not charge me a single dollar at the end, not even the diagnostic fees. Nicest computer guy ever, I will recommend him to everyone.

Super quick and helpful service! My ASUS laptop was stuck in a reboot cycle after a Windows update and I was unable to get to the sign-in screen. Benjamin was able to fix my laptop quickly and gave me informative updates along the way. He also gave many recommendations for the future, which I appreciated. The total came out to be $99 ($69 for the diagnostic and $30 for the service), and after the $10 Yelp discount, it came out to $89, which is amazing for such amazing service! Definitely recommend!

Ben has been our go-to computer repair guy for several years now; He Always responds quickly Does his diagnostic reviews quickly Gives you a clear plan on what needs to be done and has always provided very close estimates on costs. Any changes are always discussed with you before action is taken. Additionally, Ben has also been great at upgrading some of our old laptops so they can be used for our friends who needed one.

I could not have asked for a better professional to fix my laptop. From start to finish, Ben was extremely friendly and accommodating. Ben was great! He couldn't actually fix my laptop in person with the precautions he is taking ( which was 100% understandable), however, he was so helpful to recommend other trusted repair shops. I weighed the decision between buying a new laptop or having someone replace the keyboard; I'm so happy I took the latter path, which saved me a couple grand. My son's computer specially his hard drive got attacked by a virus and he could not retrieve his data even in safe mode. I called this company and the owner was very frank and said that he was swamped and he could not take on the job: he nevertheless set us up with an USB drive so we could try to start the machine externally. It did not work but the 5 stars are for the honesty and courtesy of this store!

Excellent service. I was in a panic because my HP laptop hinge snapped. The next day, I was unable to open my computer. I remembered that I took my previous laptop to Alhambra Computer Services a couple years ago, and was very satisfied with the prompt and efficient repair. So I put in a request via Yelp, and was pleased that Benjamin replied immediately, and it was the weekend.

Although he was wasn't able to give me a quote for the repair without seeing my laptop, he was very helpful in his communication. I was also able to schedule an appointment via Yelp, for the next day. Upon inspecting my laptop, Benjamin was honest, and said that it would not be worth getting it fixed. He clearly explained what had happened, and the difficulty of getting parts for HP computers, etc.

But the great news is that he was able to open up my laptop without creating any damage, and I am able to use it until I get a new one! This was such a relief. I would highly recommend Benjamin, as he is extremely knowledgeable, honest, and has excellent communication skills. Also very responsive and his system for setting up an appointment is very efficient and smooth. Overall, a great experience during a stressful time of having your computer go out on you.

Place was recommended by a friend I was very happy about the service and how fast my MacBook Pro was back in my hands and faster than it was before. MacBook was more than 5yrs old and stopped starting up again few years back, I needed an extra working computer for home use and Ben brought my laptop back to life at an affordable price. If I could give this business six stars I would. I went here looking to recover some data from an external hard drive with my photos, documents from work/school, etc that stopped working. Within 24 hours Ben said that there was good news and that the data was all there. It was only a power issue so he didn't have to actually do any data recovery. He was completely honest!

He could've said here's your data that I recovered and collected the money! Additionally, Ben is very knowledgeable, accommodating, and has fair prices to begin with as I have gone to him for another service. Highly recommended.

Great experience dealing with Ben. Went in for a diagnostic to check why my PC wasn't working. Issue was that the power supply was dead but luckily it was still under warranty. After installing the replaced unit, it still wasn't working. Ben is a very informative and honest worker. He kindly opened our Mac and checked for damage. He let us know possible situations and the cost of each situation and part. Benjamin, the owner, however, provided great customer service, was communicative throughout the entire process, and willing to put in the effort to find out what was wrong with my computer.

I visited here because I couldn't turn on my laptop for some unknown reasons. It was working yesterday and suddenly it is not being charged, and then power is off. I made an appointment in the early morning because this was urgent. I also asked if he can check noise issue on my laptop. Benjamin explained the process and details nicely, and told me to wait for his reply by late night. Sounds really fast.

In the afternoon, he already came back to me and said he found the issue on the connector. He fixed it, and also he found a cable placed improperly around the fan and sent me pictures for me to understand what was going on. Everything was clearly done within half day and I only need to wait for the part replacement now. That was the quickest service I have ever experienced here :

Since my laptop screen was damaged, I was searching around for a place that would repair my screen for a reasonable price. The OEM gave me some ridiculous price that was almost as expensive as the price I paid for the laptop itself, and another company offered to repair it for a rather hefty price while also shipping my laptop to another facility outside of the state, so I was not going to go with those options.

This is where I found ACS. After talking to Benjamin about the initial costs for things like the cost of repair/labor and parts, he gave me a rather reasonable price (plus, because he fixes things at his place, it's a convenient location should I need to grab my laptop for anything). Shipping took just about as long as he projected, and he was able to repair the screen in the same day he received the part.

Throughout the entire process, he kept me up to date (promptly) with things like shipping information, how much the total cost was, and any other question I had. Highly recommend bringing your computer needs to him!

Ben's expertise never ceases to amaze me. I went to him again a couple of years after he resolved my computer issue. This time it was Microsoft's faulty updates that caused my computer to freeze when it tried to start up. Ben fixed it in a couple of days. My computer is running like a brand new computer again! He did a wonderful job once again! During the entire process, he communicated with me and kept me posted with the progress of my computer.

When I was picking up my computer, he gave me a clear explanation of what he did during the process. I was in the area and needed computer repair services for my laptop for an overheating issue. I've repaired and replaced components in my own computers, built PCs, but just didn't have the parts available for the job. I knew this would be a reasonable challenge for a computer repair tech.
