On The Spot went way beyond a Five Star rating. I was being forced to convert from a PC to a Mac. They took out my hard drive, copied my files into the Mac, and got me all set up, but I had to return because I was having trouble adjusting. Even though it was beyond the call of duty, they helped me with navigating Microsoft Word on a new device with a frustrating keyboard.

After a few days of misery, I gave up. I bought a refurbished PC, they transferred my files again, and even taught me how to adjust to the new computer and the new version of Microsoft Word with minimal charge. (Thank you so much, Iris. You're the best!)

I had a fantastic experience with OTSCR - they did a custom pc build for my son (who had started the process himself and hit a snag). Iris and her team were so fast, thoughtful, skilled and communicative. They got the job done beautifully and quickly. Excellent work and customer service. I will definitely use them again.

I had a custom pc built here and it was great! The people were super nice and my computer was built perfectly. It was also reasonably priced. They showed me how to use it and where I needed to plug wires in. They were also really understanding, and built it in one day so I wouldn't have two make two long drives. I would definitely recommend them!

I brought my dell laptop here because the hard drive failed abruptly. They gave me a prompt diagnosis the next morning, and I ultimately decided not use their replacement or repair work because I learned my computer was still under warranty with the store I bought it from. They charged me $0 for their diagnostic work! I am very grateful for that kindness and I will absolutely work with them when needed after my warranty expires.

Originally, I went to a big box store to see if they could diagnose the problem with my MSI laptop, but the technician was dismissive and he assumed that it was a motherboard failure. After doing some research, I found OTSCR and decided to get a second opinion here. From the get-go, Iris assured me that they would try and figure out what the issue was and give me a timely update.

Lucky for me, it was the DC jack that needed to be replaced. The cost for the repair and replacement was reasonable and I will definitely be going back here for my computer woes

I cannot say enough good things about David & Iris at On the Spot Computer Repairs! Go to them first before giving big chains your business. I spilled beer on my laptop (MacBook Air), and took it in to the Apple store. The "Geniuses" at the Apple store said nothing could be done for my computer and that I would have to pay around $800 to repair my it.

And that was without guaranteeing that they could recover my information. And they tried to up sell me on a new MacBook Air computer that cost the same as the repair. After refusing to buy a new computer, I decided not to give up on my MacBook Air and started to look around for reputable computer repair stores in the area. After reading the reviews on On The Spot Computer Repairs I decided to give them a shot. David (The Owner) is the coolest guy I ever met.

He explained to me the details of the inspection, repair, and pointed out the risk that might occur when dealing with liquids inside computers. After he explained the details, I felt super comfortable letting David work on my Mac. David cleaned as much as he could of the liquid and replaced the battery that got fried and HALLELUJAH! my computer started back up and I DID NOT lose any of my information! With labor and a new battery my cost was much less than at the Apple Store. And David never tried to up sell me. THANK YOU DAVID & IRIS.

I brought my old custom built PC in to On The Spot about two weeks ago for a clean up to get it ready to sell. The staff was professional, polite, and clearly very knowledgable. The owner cleaned up my computer to a like-new state, and also went out of his way to rewire all my cables through the back of the case and make other improvements to it as well to make it look and function better than it ever has.

And he did all of this in under an hour! I will absolutely be a returning customer next time I need any sort of PC work done, and I would highly recommend anyone else to go here for their tech repair needs. Thanks again!

I had a very old MacBook Pro laptop whose logic board gave up one fine day. I had gone to the Apple Service center and they couldn't help me out in recovering the data. But I went here and Iris was very informative and hospitable. She assured me that it can get recovered even though I had tried reinstalling the OS on the laptop which could potentially cause data loss.

She and David explained how they recovered my data and gave it to me on a separate hard drive. They did not charge me extra for the hard drive and their price are very reasonable. I cannot thank them enough for saving my time and data :

Couldn't be more pleased with On The Spot Computer Repairs. After scanning my slow and clunky PC for viruses and malware, David correctly predicted that my hard drive was about to crash. He rebuilt my PC with a new OS and flash drive that makes it operate so much more easily and faster. And service was very quick. Practically overnight. Iris was essential in explaining to me what I needed to consider, and offered me several options.

We even discussed the benefits and drawbacks of switching to a Mac. Simply the best in town I discovered On the Spot two years ago. My laptop wasn't working properly and David told me that I just needed to increase the memory space. He did it for me and since then I dint' have any other issues with that machine. Today I went back with my other laptop and he got it fixed also this time, when others were telling me that nothing could be done to repair it. Iris and David are the best in any sense: honest, knowledgeable, careful and very kind. I strongly recommend their services.

Excellent Excellent Excellent. Dave and Iris were just fantastic! My Laptop was experiencing the BSoD and no matter what I tried, online fixes did not work. David fixed it in a matter of hours, wiped my computer and saved my files for me all at a very reasonable cost. Diagnostic charge is $45 which is applied to the total if the machine is fixable. Trustworthy, knowledgeable! Easy to find and plenty of available parking meters. Highly recommend. Five Stars all the Way!

My monitor (pixels) on my laptop broke, probably from me accidentally sitting on it from one drunk evening! I called On The Spot Computers and I brought it in. I told them that I wasn't in a rush because I had a backup laptop. They turned it around in a week and I was very pleased that they were able to order the part quickly to fix my HP laptop. They had a reasonable labor price and my monitor cost me about $116 with taxes included. Prices may vary based on what type of monitor it is.

Mine was just a simple, non-touch screen. I was really happy with their work. The next time I accidentally sit on my laptop, I'm definitely calling them to repair it! They are super friendly. I highly recommend them.

It's always nice to find someone who is honest and reasonable in business. David is very good at what he does and charges reasonable prices. Not only will he do the job quickly and well, he also will explain what he did and how to prevent problems in the future. My computer was running very slowly and seemed to always have something running in the background when I was doing nothing.

He cleaned it up and tuned it for me so it runs much faster. He also took the time to show me how to keep unwanted (little-used) programs from always running. He runs his business right - teaching me how to prevent the problems I was having may keep me away from him in the short term, but I know exactly where I'm going with any computer problems in the future.

I had a similar experience as Tony P., but I just wanted to post another great review for David. I was having some trouble with my first ever home-built computer and brought it by. David pretty quickly identified my dead motherboard by testing it with a spare power source. Now my computer is up and running perfectly, and if I ever have any other troubles I'll definitely head back to On the Spot.
