My primary workstation went down over a month ago - a pre-built gaming/video rig from Best Buy. It was getting power but wouldn't POST and gave no video output. I drove myself nuts trying to diagnose the issue myself with boot disks and reseating everything I could get my hands on inside the case. Geek Squad couldn't diagnose the issue and flat out would not honor the manufacturer's warranty in-store.
The manufacturer wanted me to pay out of pocket to ship the system out to them in order to get my warranty services. Two other local repair shops didn't even return my calls. Nerv picked up the phone on the first ring, had me in the shop the next day I had off, and had my system diagnosed and repaired all in less than a week (and over a busy holiday weekend nonetheless).
I cannot recommend them highly enough. Save yourself the headache I went through by avoiding the run-around from box store repair services and manufacturers. Call Nerv next time you're having issues with your electronics.

I'm extremely satisfied that I took my laptop to be fixed here. The price was very fair (about $150.00 to fix a motherboard issue) and I asked for expedited service and had it back SAME DAY! I called around and the next best timeframe I was given was 5 days. Absolutely awesome place and I will be back!

This place is horrible! Took my laptop there and Max, the owner, promised a new hard drive, new operating system, and data recovery. Cost was almost $300. After a month I stopped to pick it up and on their office it failed to load. I left it for another 2 weeks and returned to find a bootleg operating system was used instead of Yosemite, which froze all the time, a mechanical hard drive was used instead of a solid state, and absolutely NO data was recovered which was about 1000 irreplaceable family pictures.
When I informed his female Asian partner, she was rude, crude, and yelled at me and asked me to leave! Nothing fixed, no refund. This place is a huge RIPOFF and not at all competetant, polite, or professional! Stay away! Buyer Beware!

I just received a courtesy call from the owner who asked me about a previous experience and if I would share it here. I am happy to share because my previous experience with this company has been very positive. I had a laptop in which the hard drive suddenly failed. I panicked, didn't know what to do. I called some places around and asked for information.
After talking to 4 people I could just tell that the person on the other end of this line was not only knowledgeable, but also passionate about helping me understand what to do next. Needless to say that I felt comfortable taking the drive for recovery. 3 days later I have a new drive with ALL my data from the failed hard drive. This has been a very positive experience for me from a very stressful initial situation.
After talking to 4 people I could just tell that the person on the other end of this line was not only knowledgeable, but also passionate about helping me understand what to do next. Needless to say that I felt comfortable taking the drive for recovery. 3 days later I have a new drive with ALL my data from the failed hard drive. This has been a very positive experience for me from a very stressful initial situation.

Been here several times now with different computers and issues. The staff is super polite, personable, and knowledgeable. I never felt i was taken advantage of and when talking to out of state friends who also work with computers they felt i was fairly taken care of which to me was a big endorsement. The prices were fair and competitive. They have replaced components on my laptops and cleaned the electronics. i've brought in the computers for different problems, not just bad hard drives. I've also recommended a handful of friends to this place and they all very happy with whatever computer issues they needed help with.
I kniw they recovered quite a bit of data for one friend for significantly less than what you would pay at a Geek Squad location. Timewise they were generally faster than the time needed that i was given.
