I'd recommend iFixie before heading to any Genius Bar. Don was able to diagnose my issue and offered to do a data backup for a reasonable price. I really appreciated how honest he was about how the newest generation of Macbooks aren't worth purchasing, and he suggested ways to replace my computer for the best value. I'll be a returning customer for sure! :

Don was super helpful, knowledgeable, and fast! I called a couple of people when my work computer's power supply unit burnt out, and Don was by far the most friendly and thorough guy that I spoke to. He rebuilt my desktop within a day and a half so that I could have it before the weekend and was super responsive throughout the whole process. I'll definitely be going to Don for all of my computer repair needs.

DON is very knowledgeable about Computers. i took him my new 3070 - 5600x amd. the computer was restarting randomly when i was playing an ANTI cheat game. Don fixed my computer in a day and was very professional! very happy about my decision with him. He is very honest about every question i asked. WILL DO MORE WORK WITH DON in the future!

Don is the only person I've ever used in Chatt to repair my computers, but I wouldn't go anywhere else. This guy knows what he's doing and won't charge you ridiculous prices or promise something he can't deliver. I took a dead SSD to him, and unfortunately drive recovery is really pricey and something that has to be sent off depending on the severity.
He suggested I just go with a new drive which is what I'll do. No charge just to diagnose, but I'm sure I'll break something eventually and I'll make sure I come back. Thanks!

There are 2 reasons I chose iFixie to replace the hard drive on my Macbook. 1. I promised myself I would never set foot in an Apple store again. 2. Don's Google reviews. I dropped off my laptop to repair the charging port and the owner informed me of the computer's inability to upgrade to windows 10, making any repairs done now pointless when windows 7 is no longer viable. I decided not to have anything done and the owner kindly refused my offer to give him payment for his time and service. I know any other pc repair business would have repaired my laptop without be aware of the software issue, and after paying $100 or more, it would have been useless by the end of the year. Very responsive, professional, helpful, and capable.

Very good experience. Scheduling was easy with realistic expectations. Was able to get my computer back on time and it works great. Knowledge and great service. I docked a star on price, but to be fair, I found other comparable services a little backward in their presentation. Better to spend the dough on the guy that knows I guess.

Donald built my computer a couple of weeks ago and after using it for the past two weeks I have had no issues whatsoever. The pricing was appropriate for the work and I was very impressed with his customer service. Donald did everything that needed to be done so that I would not have to setup anything when I received the computer. I am very grateful for his incredible building skills.
