I brought in my computer cause I couldn't figure out how to put back on a keycap. Tony told me it was missing pieces, I pointed him to the piece he was looking for and he told me I would still need to order pieces and it would take weeks. I figured out how to put the key cap back on after messing with it. I wonder what part Tony would order if I asked him to

I bought this laptop at the Apple Store at U Village in Seattle, and had it diagnosed at the Calgary store, who told me it would be $1300 to fix what they said was a spill onto the laptop. I then took it to a private technician, who looked at it and said there wasn't evidence of any liquid, but they didn't know what would fix the laptop to restart it.
It sat as a dark screen for several months, then I grabbed it to take to Seattle so I could take it to Seattle to pull data from it, and recycle it somehow. Luckily I met Tony at GoEBITS, who restored the MacBook Air, installed a new battery, and ran a diagnosis for $59 (that they then applied to the battery cost.) Then he spent his time explaining to me what had happened.
These are now my go-to people for support, not only because Apple is trying to sell me a new computer, but because they have an ethic of sharing information and doing right by their customers.

This team gave me an estimated diagnostic time of 2-3 days. They did not call me within that time frame. I waited 4 before calling them, and they wouldn't answer my calls. After two days of calling and emailing, they finally gave me an answer and returned my computer, charging me over $300 total. I got him and the exact same problem is happening still.
Nothing was evidently fixed. I called for a refund and they said "labor was done, and our records show that it works, you can bring it back in". No thanks. I'm taking my business elsewhere. You folks couldn't fix it after 7 days. I should've listened to the other negative reviews. For an owner response of "we're learning from this feedback", it seems like you folks still haven't learned from any of the feedback. Edit: I took the computer to a different location to have them repair it. Fixed it in 2 days because they had a backlog. GoEBITs forgot to connect the front panel properly, which is why the computer couldn't turn on. So much for it being in 'perfect working condition' when I left.

An Apple care rep referred me here to take care of a hardware diagnostic on our iMac. Upon showing up they told me it would take about 5 days to run the diagnostic and cost me $80. I thought that seemed pretty steep so we left and took our computer to the Apple store nearby instead. The Apple store was able to run the diagnostic in 30 min. Our computer is fixed and we didn't have to pay anything at all!

The representative who is taking care of my case is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I dropped off my computer on a Sunday and he told me they would do diagnostics in 2 days and reach out to Apple. Two days passed and I did not hear from them. I emailed on Day 2 and on Day 44. I finally called on Day 5 only to discover they havent done anything on the computer yet; they have only been holding on to it.
I expressed my frustration especially because they did not bother to communicate this significant delay or respond to my emails. The representative told me non-chalantly to come pick up my laptop if Im that frustrated You would think any reasonable person would apologise in this situation given they are in the wrong for delaying and not communicating, but he was so rude.
He was pretty much gaslighting me claiming that 1-2 business days isn't that much delay and he has so many computers in his backlog as if I am the one who made him give me the wrong estimate initially. I wonder if racial bias was factoring in his communication with me because I doubt he talks to other customers like that -they would be out of business simply put!
Please just take your device to Apple even if that means waiting a little for an appointment. Ive had a positive experience at the other Goebits location in Seattle so I guess its just this particular employee. I hope their management exercises more caution with employees they put in customer facing positions. Disappointing experience! Update: He called and apologised which I appreciated.

A small store/business with HUGE customer care. Couldn't get an appointment at the Apple Store so ended up at GoEBITS. So happy with them and I would gladly return for any future needs. Absolutely fantastic! The warranty for my macbook pro had technically expired, but somehow they figured out a way to get Apple to pay for a new keyboard, battery, and full top sheet. Along the way they were very open and communicative as well as generally pleasant. I would go back a hundred times over, thank you.

Terrible customer service! I brought my Macbook in for a screen issue that was happening basically non-stop. After 3 days of trying to call them and ask if they had reproduced the issue. they said they had not. I went to pick up my laptop figuring I'd just have to take it to a regular Apple store and risk the crowds with COVID. Upon getting it back it has a big scratch/dent of the LCD screen. They pulled the whole "it was like that when we got it" business. Beware of this place! Not honest people.

Phenomenal experience. These people are professionals in every sense of the word. Brought in my MacBook Pro for some mysterious problem where it would shut down at random times. Turned out to be a broken logic board. Sam, one of the techs, found out I was just past the one-year warranty but encouraged me to call Apple and ask about coverage anyway. Amazingly, Apple covered the entire replacement, I didn't pay dime. They replaced it promptly and I, essentially, have a new computer. Thank you, GoEBITS!

I've been pretty loyal to the Capitol Hill location, but ended up in the U district, with a sudden presentation for an interview the next morning, and my MacBook acting up. I think his name was Dorian, a manager at both locations, who helped me SO much. Cared about helping me save my data way more than the Apple store ever did. I always refer people to these two places, and especially Dorian, my hero. (And I got the job!)

I've always been skeptical of bringing my MacBook Pro for service anywhere other than an Apple Store, but GoEBITS was a BETTER experience than the Apple Store. Not only could I get an appointment at GoEBITS the next day (Apple was booked 2-3 days out), but they turned around a pretty big repair on my computer in JUST 2 DAYS. Instead of mailing the computer out (like Apple has to), they have technicians that do the repairs in store which significantly speeds up the wait time.
They also told me that at first, Apple Care denied the necessary repair request, but after a GoEBITS manager called Apple Care to explain the situation, they approved it and the repair was fully covered. Didn't cost me a cent! For future repairs, my first call will definitely be GoEBITS instead of the Apple Store!

To all Apple consumers, always " Take Apple To Apple". I thought of just letting it go. But the buck passing is so frustrated. I got a totally wrong diagnostics ( cost me 80 bucks) from GoEbits which would cost me 500 dollars to repair my computer, while the apple people solve it in one minute for free. If you got it wrong, then just say sorry. It just felt like they are wiling to exaggerate your problem by 100 folds, because if nothing is wrong with your device, how can they make profits?

I have been to GoEbits twice and both times their work has exceeded my expectations. This last time, I brought in a recent MacBook Pro that had a broken key. If I would have taken it to the Apple Store, there is a chance that I would have had to pay for it because it might be deemed user fault. However, GoEbits worked with Apple to get it covered under warranty and fixed my Mac in 2 days less than promised!
On top of that, I ended up getting an entirely new keyboard, trackpad and a brand new factory battery! It feels like I have a brand new computer! Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and thoroughness.

This place is so incredibly AWESOME! Very long story short: I spilled coffee on my computer, and it very quickly spread into the display. Tried to get appointment w apple store and literally it was like going through an international airport terminal-three levels of security and then when I finally got through stressed out if my mind, they said FOUR WEEKS TO FIX MY display!?
Fast forward: found goebits as authorized apple service place who apple approves to do work and I could get my computer back within a week or less time they said. I was like HELL YEA--but worried. I mean goebits its isn't fancy and flashy like the apple store and so I decided to read the reviews and thank the goddess I went to goebits because not only were they LIGHTENING FAST (ugh like literally three days!) but also I got a new keyboard and track pad and they super cleaned the guts and my computer is working so much better than before! Omg!

This place was great! They diagnosed my issue nicely and followed all the rules for repairing Apple laptops that are under warranty. I recommend this place as long as you are under warranty. My 2015 Mac was not under warranty so it was going to potentially cost $800 to replace the battery because of Apple's rules of device repair. I didn't let them do the repair because this laptop was not under warranty.
If you're going to spend $800 you should just buy a new machine. Jet City Device repair has always been my go to for iPhone battery and broken screen replacement. I'm going to try to take my Mac to them and see if they can work some magic PS- GOeBits pandemic protocol is up to snuff

My Mac broke, and the next day (a Sunday) I was able to get an appointment. Slightly longer than expected, but super friendly service and they replaced all my MacBook parts - and it was free of cost cause I was under Apple care. I would highly recommend if you are looking for a convenient place on the ave! Professional and friendly.

Had a very good experience here having my mac laptop repaired after an unfortunate run-in with about 16 oz of iced tea. They had great availability online, I was able to make a same-day appointment and bring it right in. They were up-front about the charges I would pay for the repair, and took it immediately. The thing I appreciate the most is that they worked with my timeline - I was leaving town in a week and a half and they made sure that I was able to take my fully repaired laptop with me - can't say how much I appreciate that! That's really where they earn 5 stars in my book.
Overall had a good experience at GoEBITS, was satisfied and even pleasantly surprised with their good communication and patience with me calling them at least 4 times to ask for updates during the repair process. Thanks!

I brought my computer and sister's computer into this shop. I brought in my windows computer and hers was a Macbook. My computer had issues with charging and hers had a prohibitory symbol. I tried to recover it, but was unable to. I initially made an appointment online and came into the store. They have a 2-person in the lobby policy right now.
I gave them her laptop and checked-in. I additionally gave them mine as well even without an appointment. The guy who checked me in was nice and helpful. It was a quick process. Then we left. Over the next week, we received phone calls from the updates on the computer. They double checked what they wanted to do to fix the computer and then asked for permission to do so.
Later we came in for pick up and quickly received our laptops. I later found out that my computer still had further issues and had emailed their request service about it. They replied promptly and told me that I could bring it in for further service. I brought it back in and the same process occurred. Overall, reasonable service time and customer service.

The Ebits crew and Jesper especially were amazing, professional and oh so helpful when my hard drive started to die. I was frantic and they calmed my nerves as well as fixed my computer in record time. I felt utterly helpless as I know NOTHING about the inner workings of my computer and Ebits did a great job of reassuring me and keeping me informed every step of the way. While I hope I never need to see them again, I would happily take an ailing computer there!

The guys here have been so helpful. I've gone in 3 times for a problem with my power cord (snapping off inside the computer - my fault, well really my kids' fault(!). They've patiently fixed it and worked with me on the price on the repeated repairs...also helped with a virus problem for an incredibly reasonable rate, as I'm a "good customer"! They sent me home with a loaner laptap, and have generally just been really great to work with.

I am a repeat customer and am very happy with the service. The prices aren't the lowest, but the repairs they made have lasted me much longer than expected. The technicians are friendly and always willing to explain repairs on a level I can understand. Don't be scared off by the contract or the prices. If you really need things fixed right, this is the place to go.
