Gophermods Eagan iPhone & iPad Repair

I brought my IPad Pro in which had a broken connector in the port. He quickly got it out, made sure the ports would work with a charge cord and sent me on my way. Didn't even charge me. Apple acted as if it was the end and wanted to charge me $300!

My phone screen cracked and I bought one online to install myself. It was harder than I thought it would be and when I was done, the home button wouldn't work and the phone was much slower than it was supposed to be. I wanted to tear my hair out. I took it in to Gophermods the next day and in about an hour they had it back to me perfect...the guy told me that I'd ripped something around the home button, so a new back plate was needed, but he said had lots of extras so he installed one of them, free of charge! I was braced to spend $40-80 on this and walked out with that lovely feeling that there are some people in the world who still work with compassion and generosity.

Stopped in the store on Saturday March 3 and the person working was very helpful and kind. My battery had completely died on an old phone and he patiently helped me resolve the issue in order to get my photos off my old phone. He went above and beyond in his service. Thank you!

Freindly, fast service. They replaced my Apple watch screen. Happy I did not have to buy a new one. Great about communicating and even checked in to see how my watch was working after a few days.

The camera on my less than 2 year old IPhone 7 died. I didn't want to pay the outrageous prices to have it fixed from Apple, so I was resigned to just getting a new phone in a couple months when my contract expired. But we found the reviews of Gophermods and gave them a try. They ordered the part and we got it fixed within an hours time. Since we live in Southern Minnesota, I should have called first to get some helpful hints on what to try before driving all the way up to Eagan to talk to the Gophermods.

Lesson learned there. But after we tried a hard reset, ordered the part from them over the phone, we just went up to Eagan again and in no time it was fixed. Very friendly people. So look them up and save yourself some time and money!!!

My camera and flashlight both stopped working- no water damage or physical signs of damage. Apple wanted $200 to repair so I brought my phone to Gophermods and within an hour, they had it fixed and working like brand new! They also check the rest of the phone and the hardware which was a huge bonus. Amazing staff. AWESOME prices. I would highly recommend.

I had a big problem, my cell phone screen went black, I went to my local T-Mobile and they said I needed a new phone, and they could not get my information off the phone because it was not backed up properly. I by accident found some cell phone repair places and they all said they could help me but it would cost $$. I also by accident found Gopher Mods in Eagan, not only could they help me but the cost was much less then the others.

Not only did they help me with my latest phone which was an edge 7, they also help me with an older phone (Samsung S4) that I hung on to which had a cracked screen and had information on it that I had hoped some day to retrieve. Tanner at the Eagan office was very helpful, very understanding and most of all delivered on everything that he said he could do. He did an outstanding job!

I went in to get my son's phone fixed. He happened to break off the tip of the charger and it got stuck inside the port. The guy tried to get it out, but was not able to. He said he could fix it by replacing the port, but he would need to fix it the next day. It cost about $100. I told him to go ahead. I got a phone call the next day by a guy named Joey. He said that he tried to pull out the tip and was successful. He refunded me all the money. I highly recommend this place.

I took my iPad in with a broken screen. In less than 48 hours it was like new! They were responsive to my texts, very friendly and clear about what it would take to fix it. I strongly recommend them.

Such a great experience at Gophermods. I broke the glass covering of my iPhone rear camera and was told by Apple and Bestbuy that the cost of fixing it would be $550. After 30 minutes, ~$70, and great customer service, you can't even tell what glass covering had been broken.

I went to Gophermods because my iPhone XR charging port had grown increasingly unreliable and was getting to where I wasn't sure each time that I could get it to take and start charging. I walked in and said I need a repair, replacement, or cleaning. Owen took a look and determined that I could get by with a cleaning. He went ahead and started cleaning it.

A couple of minutes later he came back, plugged it in and verified it now worked, and then handed it back to me. I asked how much and he said that cleaning was no charge. My MacBook Air had keyboard issues. Techs were knowledgeable, friendly and MOST importantly, trustworthy. They kept me informed and the laptop was fixed as promised. Great service.

Working from a description and MacBook Pro error text, the Gophermods tech correctly diagnosed my issue via email. At the same time, I was told the part was available from vendor stock, when it would be shipped and received, and how long my device would be in shop. When it was ready, I was notified immediately via. During pickup, the rep stepped through functionality testing with me and fully explained the manufacturer's one-year parts warranty. My iPhone wouldn't take a charge and it seemed like the charging port was broken. I took it to Gophermods and they took care of it in 5 minutes. Who knew so much lint could build up in there? I took my Apple Watch to the Minneapolis/Quarry location and Owen provided me with outstanding service. My watchband was installed uspide down and I could not get it out.but Owen and his colleagues got it out.in about 5 minutes.and he didn't charge me! When I need Apple repairs in the future, I will go to Gopher Mod.

I'm a Disabled Veteran, I just got home from my 2nd appointment with this company in 3 days. I was so impress by them by them solving my first problem on my first device, i came back to them today with a 2nd problem on a different device, which they also solved. This is a newer start up company is simply unbelievable GREAT! i just got home from my 2nd appointment with them in 3 day for 2 different technical problems from their store in Woodbury.

My experience all begain with the first contact with their technician's when you first walk threw their door, they are so friendly and you can actually feel and see their smiles threw their mask's, I really mean this. With Emma, she's GREAT and with today's experience with Emma and Owen who is a (FANTASTIC TECHNICIAN) he was able to solve and he was able to successfully repair my device which was a impossible repair.

I was so impressed by Owen's expertise and his abilities that I bought everyone there a pizza for a tip for lunch to be delivered. The technician's that they have there are just simply, "Awesome", they are not only technically "savvy" experts, what is more important to me is, they are also so, so personal and you know, you get this feeling they really, really do care about you and your needs as their customer.

You can really sense and feel this by how they listening to you and the questions they asked you. These guys did a great job. They ordered the parts in advance. Repairing my iPhone camera took two hours, cost about $120 (Apple wanted $800) and was very thoroughly careful about insuring the phone was returned in good condition.

I brought in a Pixel 3 XL with a cracked screen and they repaired as good as new. The back glass got cracked during the screen replacement but I want to point out they handled it perfectly. Things happen and all too often consumers feel the need to lash out over minor things. I want to praise them for resolving it the way they did. Their cost was also considerably less than another estimate I received.

Quick and fast repair on an iPad 6. Screen looks flawless and everything works after a week and so far so good.

My iPhone screen was very damaged. Gopher mods was really candid and transparent about the pros and cons of replacing the screen. I decided to go ahead and do the replacement. The price was reasonable and the service was great and quick! I would highly recommend.

I dropped my over 10 year old iPod and ruined the HD. I diagnosed that it couldn't be reformatted or resurrected. I brought it in and we discussed turnaround as they don't maintain stock of legacy parts (reasonable.) They kept me well informed via email and once all parts arrived it was repaired in a few hours. They did a great job of repair and it works like new. I recommend they highly!

I have gotten two repairs at Gophermods in the past year- fixing a cracked iPhone screen, and replacing my iPhone 6 battery-- both experiences were exceptional. I was given an accurate time estimate of how long the repairs would take (both under 2 hours) and was quoted a price, which was exactly what I paid. The prices were also available on their website, which I found to be accurate.

The locations are very clean and modern looking, helpful and friendly staff, and restored my phone to perfect condition. I would recommend Gophermods (especially the Eagan location) to anyone who needs a phone repair.

Doggie decided to eat my phone. Luckily, she mostly got the case and all it needed was a new screen. Dropped it off with Ben at 10 am and it was done in an hour. He checked all the other systems and whatnot and fixed the screen for $79, which has a warranty on the work they did. An extra $20 signs you up for a program where they will fix it again for no additional charge if you manage to break something else, which I undoubtedly will.

They also gave me a used case for super cheap to use until my new one comes in. Great place. I have used other repair services and am really tired of difficult scheduling or shoddy workmanship. This place is legit.

I can't recommend this place enough. I brought my cracked iPhone screen in to get it fixed and they fixed it quickly and for a reasonable price. They also noticed another piece that was *almost* broken and fixed it for me for no charge! I am a customer for life now.

Highly recommended! I was visiting from out of state, moving my son into his dorm room at the University of Minnesota. While shopping for a mini fridge for his room, I dropped my iPad and shattered the screen. I was devastated because I use it and rely on it more than my phone. I immediately went on Yelp to find someone to repair it since I was flying home the next day. Figured most would say it would take a day maybe two.

Found this location on YELP and called. Spoke with Dan at the store, it was 5:00 pm and I told him my story. He said he could fix it in an hour if I got there by 5:30 (they close at 7:00pm). They fixed it as promised and I watched a movie on it during my flight home. Thanks!

I can not say enough positive things about Gophermods. I came to them with my iPhone 6S+. What I thought would be an expensive repair was a simple cleaning for them. I can hear out of the ear piece AND my phone will allow the charger to stay in the slot. Damn you pocket lint! The guys were VERY knowledge, super approachable, and not pushy at all. I can't say enough good things about Gopher Mods! I took 2 iPads (my son and I are both klutzes!) that were badly cracked to GopherMods. They had to order the screens and tools because they weren't in stock. I asked if there would be an extra charge. They said "no, we should have this tool in the store anyway." Despite their best efforts, our iPads were broken beyond the point of no return.

I went to pick up the iPads and they didn't even charge me. Everyone I dealt with at Gopher was friendly, professional and honest. If you need to fix an iPad, phone, computer, etc. I would strongly recommend Gopher mods!

My Surface Pro tablet screen was destroyed in an accident. After shopping all my options for repair, I felt the $200 option with Gophermods to be my best bet. The $ includes shipping both ways and a one yr warranty. While I am fairly handy with fixing things myself, I worried that after investing close to $100 in parts, tool, shipping, that one screw up and I'm out that money.

I paid online after reading positive reviews. I received a shipping label and sent the tablet in. I received an email from GMod acknowledging they received it. I received another email 3 days later when it was repaired and shipped back. So far, the tablet is functioning perfectly and I'm very happy with the quick service and hassle-free process. Speedy service. I broke my iPhone's screen and tried these guys out. Price was the same as the repair at the Apple Store. Biggest difference? I would have to wait 5 days for a reservation at the Genius Bar for a repair for the first available opening at the 5 in the metro. Here- I dropped in with my phone at about 1:40pm and they told me the repair would for sure be done same-day, and likely 90 minutes. Less than one hour I had a brand new screen on my phone. If I'm clumsy enough to break my phone again, this is where I will return.

Update. after posting my complaint I received a call from gophermods within 5 mins so I am assume they do pay attention to "yelp" and social media" they were very prompt regarding my issue and did a great job re-fixing my console. kudos to the. My console stopped working and I sent it gophermods for repair. they fixed it and it works, but they did not put the blue screw back in and they damage my console.

I had to go into my system to put the hard drive in, since it's missing the screw. I didn't like the fact that my system wasn't checked properly before sending it back to me, and I wasn't notified they damaged my system.

This is a great place to get your phone fixed, should you need it. My boss broke the face of her iPhone, and I found this place after shopping around online for a suitable place to which I could bring the phone. Well, for $79.99, they fixed it and she's very happy with the result. You also get a one-year warranty on the service, should your phone start acting wonky after a repair. So, unless you're like me and use a combination of ebay and youtube to fix things, this is a great place to go.
