I had an old laptop with a Vista OS. It was really, really outdated. I brought it into Fuquay Computer Repair and Corey removed Vista and updated the OS, cleaned up all useless files and brought it up to "factory new" in just 5 hours. My computer was acting strange and I was worried about losing a hard drive and all my data, pictures and stuff. Fuquay confirmed the hard drive was bad and replaced it with a solid state hard drive. They saved all my pictures and moved all my programs to the new hard drive. It's like having a new computer! Thanks FCR!

My laptop wasn't fancy but it was dependable and it had all my files and programs I used for work and hobbies (Not to mention all the family photos, saved passwords, bookmarks, apps, etc.). At 8 years old it died on me. It would hum like it was starting up, the loading screen would flicker on, the progress bar would slowly fill up, and right when it would finish loading... BLACK SCREEN.
I approached FCR and asked if they could salvage my business records, photo albums, etc. from the old girl. After their tech Corey finished his evaluation, he said he could replace a few old parts and it would be good as new! No lost data, no expensive irritating new machine, and no dodging sales reps with quotas or commission. Corey told me what parts I had to replace if I wanted to keep it running and also gave me suggestions for upgrading parts to help it run like new.
He was patient, thorough when explaining costs and parts, and very knowledgable about everything I asked him.
Fuquay Computer Repair fixed my old laptop, upgraded some parts to improve it, backed up my data on their servers, and charged me less than a 1/4 of what I planned to spend! Thanks again guys!
