He is straight shooter, and because he is so knowledgeable that the fix takes less time and as a result the cost of the fix is less. He put solid state drive in 2 of my computers.

I couldn't load a tax program. I spent hours trying to resolve. I talked w/ representatives of the companies involved, they told me to erase and reinstall the program, which ended up not working. Finally I called my computer guy Adam. I should have called him sooner! He messed w/ some things and realized my Windows 10 was the problem. He reloaded Windows 10, which took about an hour, and not only did my program work, but my computer is much faster.

He is both kind, and knowledgeable. He explains each part of the process in an understandable way and clearly outlined his logic for design decisions. He worked with me to find the parts for me and when I got my PC back it was as clean as the day I had gotten it. He is truly a professional, knowledgeable, and great to work with repair man.

Was very helpful and friendly. 6 month old laptop (Asus ROG G15) was having issues so I tried taking it in to Best Buy first since that's where I bought it. They wanted $150 just to look at it in any amount of detail. Brought it in to Gaertner and he tried a series of things. Wasn't able to simply get it running but he didn't try and upsell or anything and even looked up the warranty for me and told me to send it in before I tried spending any money. Highly recommend!

Definitely recommend going here to get your pc repair, he's very knowledgeable and is very willing to help you out in any way. Will for sure come back to him if i have any other problems. In my case he fixed my laptop that was overheating badly and he showed me all the temps before and after from 90 Celsius to 76 Celsius at max output with liquid metal. I appreciate what he did!

My computer has been slowing down until I couldn't take it anymore. I have been somewhat procrastinating because I was expecting a huge bill and potentially a new computer. And a few weeks back, another company was not responsive when I tried to get help. Well, Adam took care of me right away. Service was outstanding! Adam was honest, professional, very reasonably priced, personable and taught me a lot.

Came in with a stupidly small mistake on my PC that kept it from working, then he saw the absolute monstrosity and spent the rest of the hour completely rebuilding it and correcting it all, and even replacing some missing things! Well worth the money since fixing the small issue and sending me on my way wouldn't have been. I also highly appreciate the kind of business Mr. Gaertner offers over that of something like GeekSquad. It was a matter of getting my PC back the same day versus the next month. Great stuff!

My work laptop was having issues I wasn't able to resolve myself. I called hoping to get my laptop in today for a quick diagnosis. Instead, he helped me over the phone, gave me to tools i needed to get it working again, in less than 10 minutes! Great human and very computer knowledgeable!

Adam is one of the best computer techs I've ever used! Seriously, if you are considering buying a desktop computer from one of the name brands, TRUST ME don't! You'll get nothing but a slow, bloat-ware filled system that is over priced. And good luck with service afterwards! I've had Adam build me 6 computers already for my business and my Son for his gaming and they are all Super fast, super reliable, and if I have any questions he's local and just a phone call away. Not some huge call center in another country! Best computer repair and builder in Bend, hands down!

Adam was great! I had what seemed like a major problem (to me) with my PC, but he was able to fix it in just a few hours, and he made sure I didn't lose any files (which was my biggest fear!) He also removed some unneeded programs from my computer which has resulted in increased speed and efficiency. Best of all, the cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend his services, both if you have a needed repair or if you just want to improve the performance of your PC!

Excellent work, my computer was corrupt it and virus, etc. Adam took care of it in less than 2 full days and very reasonable fair the service fee. I would definitely recommend this place if you need to fix your computer.

After calling around Bend and talking to different people about some computer troubles I was having I decided to go with Adam at Gaertner PC. Out of everyone I spoke with over the phone, Adam sounded the most confident about what the problem might be and that he could take care of it. So I brought my computer in and he immediately started taking a look and showing me different things going on inside my computer.

He took the time to explain some different issues and it all made sense. Ultimately it came down to my computer having a bad power supply which he was able to have quickly replaced. He also took care of the malware and different things that had been plaguing this particular computer. So ultimately, for about $130 I ended up with a computer that works better then ever.

It had been sitting in the garage as I couldn't figure out how to get it running smoothly again. I was so happy with the whole experience I brought in an old iMac for Adam to take care of as well. Now I've worked with a couple different companies that had IT departments and although the guys have always been great, Adam is the best I've every worked with.

The fact that he also very reasonable cost wise and actually less then some of the alternatives makes Adam my go-to now for all computer related help. Even if you're not 100% sure about giving Adam a try, do like I did a call a few places, but then be SURE you call Adam and he what he has to say. I think you're be very impressed! :

Just the best, very professional and very, very good at what he does! I tried another business and they broke my computer completely. Adam fixed it in 1/10th the time, showed me how they broke it and 4 months later it runs faster than the day i bought it.
