Full disclosure, I used to work here. That being said, how many people give their former employer top ratings? Here's the bottom line: Mike (the owner) has set up his business to work with you, not to squabble over money. He spends spare time fretting about what could go wrong, and setting his people to trying to prevent it before it does. Why? Because he knows that regardless of the facts of the issue, if it goes wrong, you're going to be unhappy and losing money.
So few people appreciate this side of him and his business. You could do far worse than to find someone who truly cares about how your IT supports your business, your goals, and you. BTW, fees a generally an all you can eat tech buffet unless you just really want to go hourly. My suggestion: I.T. is not like Chinese food, so go with the all you consume option.
It saves you money in the long run. Just be honest, forthright, and treat the arrangement like what is: you are partnering to get on-demand access to IT instead of hiring your own in house staff. You save money, but might be in a queue for a short period as the business ends on the Pelstar side mean that Mike has to keep his staff constantly busy in order to charge as little as he does and still keep the doors open for business and the lights on. Again, it is what it is, but what it is is awesome value: great heart, lots of experience, and very affordable. Usually you get to pick 1 or 2 of those at the most.

There I was one night, blissfully watching Netflix for the singular purpose of chilling when my laptop died. I went through all the stages of grief and the next day headed for Pelstar. Not only were Kevin and the guys able to retrieve my data, but once I'd purchased a new machine (elsewhere), got me up and running so that within days, I was able to return seamlessly to my regular routine of Facebooking, reading news headlines, cursing the current administration in Washington, writing the great American novel and of course, watching Netflix and. ah, you know the rest.
No muss, no fuss, pretense, geeky shirts with exorbitant prices, or any other foolishness. Just guys who know their way around a hard drive and took care of the problem. Only one question remains. Why the heck to they call it a motherboard, anyway?

I wanted to record and save on external media precious phone messages left by my granddaughters before I discontinued service with CenturyLink. I contacted Pelstar for help after numerous IT companies said they did not know of a way to do that and offered no suggestions. I explained the situation to Craig who said that he can record and save the messages, and the next morning the mission was accomplished.
I am so thankful for Craig's creativity and the work he did to preserve those precious memories. I highly recommend Pelstar for anyone looking for solutions to tough challenges and excellent service! Thanks so much, Craig, Mike, Chad and Barb for a job well done. Sandy R.
